  1. We (well, at least for Titan-genesis) all know about Titan being clearly better place for life to origin and evolve. But Venus has its cloudtops, which is the most Earthlike location in Solar System apart from Earth itself. 343K, 1 atm pressure, some acid neccessary for life, and trace of water vapor. And panspermia from Earth, and so on. I still vote for Titan though.
  2. I got white planets too. I installed the mod manually.
  3. Proxima Centauri and its planet, Proxima Centauri b. This planet should look like Mars, Venus or a desert planet with few water coverage.
  4. I used to do that, and failed. Objects outside of our Solar System just didn't show up.
  5. The following spoiler contains some suggestions, with possible offensive words (Idk if it's offensive or not, but please tell me if it's offensive) And more planet suggestions .
  6. Very imaginative. But for those w/o TweakScale, this is not possible. This is my point. I'm waiting for the update.
  7. Pretty much everything apart of the miniaturized engine and the spherical fuel tanks which are way too small. I'm expecting this: (Of course, not as large as the real one.) So we'll need more Daedalus engine+spherical fuel tanks size (at least two size), the supporting pads (at least two size) that the fuel tanks are placed on, the payload box, and the kinetic shield.
  8. What if I don't have TweakScale? (Actually, I have it.) I think it is quite essential. Currently I still can't build a Daedalus though, just a grapeship using Daedalus' engine. Bussard ramjets can't operate with our current knowledge due to drag of the scoop being way too high. Can be used for deceleration though.
  9. Suggestion: Two Daedalus engine size: one for first stage (And thus larger one, 5 m) and another for second stage (smaller, 2.5 m)
  10. I think it'll need a magnetic sail for braking and entering the star system. Waiting for it.
  11. No. I can't see any. Just those 1/10 Solar System bodies. Nothing else. Note that I installed both original and my modified 1/10 objects.
  12. Actually the latter name sounds too cool to be abandoned! I think I can't find any of your stars neighboring my SmallSolarSystem. Probably I have to fix the configs.
  13. Sidenote: Constellations is the name of one of NASA's program, and there is a mod that already took that name. I suggest this mod's name change to something else, like "RSS Constellations" or "Beyond Sol: Constellations". Don't forget to add more planets from GJ 581, especially planet d.
  14. Note: Usually, super-earths with lower mass tend to be composed of heavier materials. This means that t Cet b is most likely to be a rocky planet, and t Cet f is likely to be a water world. Actually we've found gas planets with low mass, but the one hugging its star like t Cet b is likely solid. This is t Cet system I built in Universe Sandbox2: Tau Ceti b: 2 Earth masses, 1.2 Earth radii. The planet is hot, dry rock, with hydrogen-carbon dioxide-nitrogen atmosphere a bit denser than Earth. Few shield volcano activities. Tidal locked. Tau Ceti c: 3.1 Earth masses, 1.4 Earth radii. The planet has hydrogen-carbon dioxide-nitrogen atmosphere about 1.5 times denser than Earth. Few shield volcano activities. Tidal locked. Tau Ceti d: 3.8 Earth masses, 1.4 Earth radii. The planet is arid world with atmosphere comparable to t Cet c. Not tidally locked, but slow. Tau Ceti e: 4.3 Earth masses, 1.6 Earth radii. This planet is interesting world to discuss. It is in the hot edge of HZ, so it should look like Venus. However, a To'ul'h subtype is more interesting to explore. More info about To'ul'h subtype at: Orion's Arm: To'ul'h subtype Tau Ceti f: 6.6 Earth masses, 1.8 Earth radii. The planet is either hydrogen-carbon dioxide-nitrogen icy world or slushball world with thin ice and methane in the atmosphere as the equator subsurface ocean opens.
  15. Thanks for the reply. I guess I should start my own mod sometimes, after I am able to escape this f'n delta-v limit on Earth! Note: This is not loads and loads of planet mod, but is focused on details. I cheer for Alpha Centauri, Gliese 581, Copernicus and Kepler-22 though. Also, J1407b's rings are too large for it to show up properly.
  16. I found a mod that convert an original sun into a black hole, then move the Kerbol system into the orbit around it. I think you can do the same, and you can fix the outdated textures (like Pluto and Charon).
  17. I put an object 25,000 light years away from Sagittarius A* and it orbit that tiny black hole in 30.3 Gyrs. With an object with 1 milky way mass, This object completes its orbit in 82.5 Myrs. The sun does orbiting the center of mass of Milky Way. Notice the different from real: it's the outer stars pulling the sun away, so it orbits longer. This picture might explain all. Feel free to ask. For the next system, I support both my idea (nearest stars) and those tiny, easy to navigate red dwarfs (GJ 876, GJ581, Kapteyn's Star and Wolf 1061) I believe this mod's going to be "The Galaxy" mod soon. I guess I'll need a wormhole to those system...
  18. Sol System: orbiting the Galaxy, not Sagittarius A* itself.
  19. Notice: If you want to name an exoplanet, I have no power to stop you. It's your mod anyways. But please put official names behind the new names. It'd be better for me than remembering unofficial names. My planetary system suggestions:
  20. Hello? Is this topic active? Well, I'll just leave a suggestion. I think we should keep using the formal names. It's much easier to remember than new common names, unless IAU approves the new names. Several exoplanets already have them, like Epsilon Eridani as Ran, and it's planet b as AEgir. Binary star systems would have some problem, though.
  21. Some weird suggestions: You could make Manai orbit Kerbol even closer than Moho, tidal locked and got one lava sea facing Kerbol as an original NovaSilisko's first planet while Revus has diffused rings. Fix Keelon so it has that 6g and 30 atm, for some crazy players who want extremely high science. Don't forget very strong heat shields! Give Laythe fixed volcanoes which destroy vulnerable parts of the ships. Fixing minor moons' orbits around Sarvin and add minor moons to Jool! Well... That's only my suggestions which... Ehhh... Pretty much dream.
  22. "Planet Ideas And Names For The Future Of Kerbal Space Program" Page 7: Nova's Comment:
  23. "Lok" Almost the same as how to say the word "Earth" or "World" in my language... Anyways, my trips at Sarvin system end up really boring (If not going into rings/watching Sarvin/try to send a probe into it) because there's nothing to do with these simple rocky/icy moons... Keelon moons are also boring. Waiting for more objects!
