Hi. Thanks, I will play with that. Not sure how old you are but... The rover in Space 1999 was actually an Amphicat. Every kid in the 70s wanted one. They where touted as all-terrains-amphib. I don't think they ever were as good as (us) kids dreamed them to be, They floated precariously, the wheels would (With their big treads) churn the water like mad and it would go forward.....slowly. I don't think you would have wanted wind, waves, or current. Vegetation or rocks either. I have seen videos of them struggling to get up a stream bank. I also think that the ground clearance (For an all terrain) was too low to be practical. ME

SPACEDOCK The Mün buggy is part of that mod. It as not been updated in years. Expect funny stuff. It drives funny. Like driving on ice. You can't pre-load a Kerbal to the front seat. He as to board it. Make sure the wheels are the right way up when assembling. There is an arrow on the inside of the wheels. The buggy as 2000 units of electrons. But no way of charging as such. ME

Hey all. Valentina and Jeb are still testing the new Mün Buggy. This time in the administrator's pool. Val: That is strange it should float as it is based on the Amphicat. Bill confirmed that indeed it doesn't float and can be driven underwater if badly. It also need a reaction wheel. ME

SPACEDOCK The mod was last updated for 1.3.0 so a few things don't quite work as expected. Such as preloading a Kerbal to the front seat. The Mün buggy is the best part. My first build didn't roll forward. The wheels appear round but they do have an up and down axis to steer. When putting the wheels on, in the SPH, rotate them 90°. Careful driving as they barrel-roll a lot. On the Mün anyway. Didn't try them in other gravity. ME

Hi. Thanks for reading this. Sometime you have to do a very long burn so you let the computer run while you do other things and sometime you miss your window. Can we have the option to have an automatic pause at the end of a warp to manoeuvre? Thanks, ME

Hi krblman. Not pretending to be a planetary rendez-vous expert but 2500 m/s from Duna surface seems enough. A little to play with don't mess too much of it. You'll have to aerobrake at Kerbin. If the cut is too shallow but make a capture you might have to do several orbits. But from my chair it seems feasible. Personally I don't use transfer windows. Just the delta-V map. Save and restore are your friends. Have fun, make mistakes. I have never seen that transfer window chart. Might have to copy it and look at it some more. Thanks. ME

Hey all. Something seemingly unnatural is going on. Jeb left on a long duration mission with with one of the Pony Crew to the outer planets. They just came back.... Jeb as a lot of explaining to do. He also seem to have proven that Kerbals and MLP are the same species. PS They called him Mach Diamond and he wants to be a pilot. Of course. ME

Personally I hate when there are ice crystals in my ice cream. That is when in as been in the freezer long enough for humidity to condense and freeze there. Taste bad too. Freezer smells get trapped in the frost.... But then Minmus is airless so Ice cream should keeps well without a lid. Wonder if the volatiles in it leave a crust with better ice cream bellow.... What is the peremtion (is that a word in English? Maybe not) Expiration date on consumption of Minmus? Hum. Now I have to go to Minmus and investigate all this. Not my image. I found t on the net. ho @Rocktagon619 I never got such a contract I would have liked to see the actual contract. I read your text as "Attach a Z-400 battery to a satellite while having an engineer on board my craft". Maybe you needed 2 engineers? So one could be on board while the battery was attached? ME

Hi. Welcome back. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Changes have happened on skins, textures, wheels, landing legs (They killed Kerbals for a while). Still some lingering bugs but overall things work. Some DLC came out. Not a must have. Robotics and good look. Not a must have but some people like them. The game was sold and bought. The new owners are rewriting as Kerbal 2. Bit more than they could chew. Big announcement, fanfare and trailers. Keeps being delayed. Not sure when the forum was the most active but it ain't now. Definitively less post now than say 3 years ago. I still recognizes some screen name going back years. They know who they are. A few new parts of course. I have played with some parts, functions but never really use them. Such as personal parachutes, removing helmets, spacesuit colours, fuel drains, cargo containers, repair kits. Still an interesting game. ME

Hey all. Here is Jeb with another batch of Equestrian Recuees rescuhees rescuese that he saved. He was supposed to sing the Kerbal anthem but he chose to sing the theme to the Mr Ed TV show. Here is Jeb on re-entry with a young one ,riding shotgun, that was stranded in orbit. All those rescue missions are making a lot of hay for the Agency (KASA). ME

Been collecting ponies. Rescued this guy (Gal?) from LKO. He later was Another one was the first unicorn ever to land on the Mün. Just as good as any Kerman Kermen Kerbals. Good job Perfect Timing. ME

Hi. The offer expire at year 1, day 134. In 90 days or so. How long do you have to do it? Spent the last two days trying to get ponies. It was hit and miss. Work, doesn't, work, doesn't. Still haven't quite put my finger on why. But it is now consistently working. Still don't know if that one is male, female, foal or what. Gelding? No, they are sentient. They wouldn't do that. Its a cartoon. Fine I don't care. That crew is a pilot. ME

Thanks, but only almost. I tried flying straight to the island and they ran out of go-go juice. Cute but high drag. Plus it as no brakes. So more fuel+parachute... I then tried a segway arrangement that fell on its nose when braking from a touchdown. And proceeded to explode to Jeb's satisfaction. Presently working on a conventional trike but the part count is getting stupid for my compu-tater©. My graphic card can't handle seeing the ground.....Makes flying difficult at best. When launching a rocket I tilt the camera to see only sky. I'll keep playing with it. ME

Hey all. Today Jeb and Bob left Duna to rendez-vous with Bill and Val in orbit. Once back on Kerbin the usual suspects flew an experimental aircraft around the patch. The mono-Wheel arrangement that Bill built didn't have any brakes so it didn't end well for the prototype. The Kerbals were fine and they had some ice-cream. ME

Hi @pandaman I totally forgot about the hide function. On every install I disable it so the Navball is always present. I always refer to it. I like your idea of toggling between 3 different states. But it is not for us to choose. We shall see what the creators in charge will do with this. How is the spring in the UK? I haven't been across the pond to your side of it (The pond that is) in over 12-13 years. I enjoyed every stay. As short as they were. Here in Montréal we had a very nice early one but we just had 2 days of cold with snow. Soon motorcycles and vegetable gardens. ME
