  1. There might be a mod to fix the map problems
  2. Sry, I thought the problem was the rockets being too small, not the map being broken.
  3. If RSS is too hard, there is a mod called 4x kerbol system.
  4. Real Scale Boosters will help with that. For example a, Saturn V will be 10m a wide, as opposed to 5-6m (depending on modpack). BTW, where did you find and install RSS, I've been trying, but can't find it.
  5. In what order do I arrange the files?
  6. Try Real Solar System, I've heard that it is great for people who have played through the entire stockalike (ie; stock, OPM, Galileo"s planet pack, etc) game and want something new.
  7. will a 5.5m BFR be included in the next update? and, have the RealPlume configs been updated?
  8. The BFR RCS thrusters IRL will run on LF+OX (methaLOX) and have thrust measured in tons (~2.5- in kerbal scale) in ksp that would convert to 1 ton = ~10 kilonewtons. In my opinion, the thrusters should be like the vernor thruster, just more powerful.
  9. There is no such thing as overkill, I use a BFR for almost all of my missions, even just to shuttle crew to LKO.
  10. I say sketchup because I have experience in it, and know someone who is really good at it, I don't know how to use blender. I also would only be able to create a 3d model, because I don't know how to code engines and moving parts, for that, I'd need to send it to someone who does.
  11. It would be great if the BFR could look like this in the future ie; smoother wings, landing leg housing, color. although it would probably be very hard to model to such detail, so it's just a suggestion, not a request. I might be able to model something like this in sketchup, if i can, how would i send it to you?
  12. The 7.5m BFR should stay, because SpaceX In real life plans on making bigger versions in the future (cough cough ITS cough). The 5.5m BFR would be an addition to the mod, not a replacement for the 7.5m BFR.
  13. @harrisjosh2711 I don't want a buff to the 7.5m BFR, I want a 5.5m BFR with fuel reserves equivalent to a stock tank to be included in future updates.
  14. Tundra Exploration has a better Dragon 2 for stockalike players, although Kerbalized SpaceX (JNH) has a better BFR (because of tweakscale, and IMO it looks better) @harrisjosh2711Does @mrtagnan have the new BFR RealPlume Configs yet?, they were especially beautiful on the first stage.
  15. The BFR (my rescaled and modified version) can haul 150t into LKO and have sufficient fuel to return with ease, although the liftoff TWR is lower than a real BFR. The BFR can go to Duna carrying a large payload or crew with orbital refueling in less than 200 days (each Kerbin day is 6 hours). I used procedural tanks to estimate the volume of the BFR tanks (I have not taken densification into account in the numbers I sent you).
  16. The units for a 9m (Human) scale BFS would be 113728.7 LF and 139001.9 OX
  17. the units for a 7.5m BFR ship (BFS) would be 65815.2 LF and 80440.9 OX
  18. around 1 or two weeks ago. the units were, 25955.6 LF and 31723.5 OX for a scaled down 5.5m BFR, equivalent to a kerbal fuel tank of similar size, (to be completely accurate it should be ~10% more due to propellant densification)
  19. @harrisjosh2711 What do you think of the fuel numbers for the BFR that I sent you?
  20. Both, the MCRN Donnager is the first Donnager class battleship in the MCRN, from the expanse. The MCRN (Martian Congressional Republic Navy). The Expanse is a hard sci fi tv show. Search "MCRN Donnager".
