1.0.5 is out!!!!! post your fist craft here.

Guys submarines are now super super easy! Jets still work under water brilliantly so you can explore the ocean depths!

...

OMG so many possibilities! Damn you squad!

Dammit, I thought I had a handle on my KSP addiction - and then this! D:

Triestse-like submarine, holds two Kerbals.

I have waited so long to be able to do this, and now its finally possible!

By jettisoning the ore, you can easily make the submarine shoot up to the surface.

See? it works amazingly well!

The biggest problem is surviving the landing...

Not sure what I should call this thing. Maybe the Flying Fish because of how it jumps out of the water when you jettison all the ore.

...Got my hands on 1.0.5, ditched an A320 and Bf 109 replica and my first cargo plane I called "Mein 1.0.5 Kampf" successfully. Other than the winglets from the A320, all the parts survived, and I managed to take off again in the Bf 109.

Unfortunately, I don't have the images with me right now.. Will post soon.

DAMN YOU MAN! I was in the process of maybe starting to think about one day making a Trieste replica. I wish we could 'occlude' water somehow to make submersible interiors though, that would rock.

Oh, here's an idea I had that I dont have time to make.

How about an underwater Laythe base and a sub that can go down and dock to it! How awesome would that be!!!

Now someone build it then give me all the credit. :sticktongue:

I'm tempted to try it (an Eve sub), though I suspect I'd have to reinforce it on the level I do my stock warships, just to deal with the sheer gravitational forces on Eve.

You'd be surprised. In that same thread, thanks to some mysterious bug-related circumstances, there is currently a contestant falling to the center of Kerbin. When he last checked in, his submarine was experiencing 6g, and so far nothing has fallen off. That's without any special reinforcement or anything. The challenge you're more likely to face on Eve is finding an efficient engine to keep you submerged for any length of time.

I've started building subs with pre-filled Ore tanks as ballast. However, to drop one on Eve... that's gonna be a BIG skycrane.

Really nice mini sub! Majorjim, I picked a fine time to be doing the Elcano Challenge, i am halfway around Kerbin and can't update yet!

Cheers mate. I will admit that it was supposed to be a little speed boat! Funnily enough, little subs actually sink better as they have few boyant parts.

Just a tiny test spaceplane. It's the smallest one I've ever made. Trying to make one that uses no engines bigger then 0.5m size. Using 3 Juno jet engines and 3 Spark rocket engines. So far I've gotten to 34Km with it. Got a long way to go yet before it can go orbital. Juno's drop out on too much power over 9Km though...

Not really my first craft, but the first one I actually bothered to save. My first craft was a basic Lear Jet replica using 2 Juno's on pylons... Nothing fancy but it flew ok.

I don't see many people posting Cargo Crafts or private jets so here is a couple

PGC-120 Starlifter

Able to lift 21 tons of cargo (maybe more)

In test I have airdropped two combat jeeps (jeeps not included)
