Almost never. The game is pretty much stable, even heavily modded. Not so common for a pre-alpha version... So kudos to the Squad guys! Well done.

Did you hear about Jeb's, Bill's and Bob's new band?

And what songs do they have? Maid of Eloo? -
The story of Zerfer station and Station 12
Frank_G replied to Bearsh's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
In memoriam... i lost a complete duna ground base to the kraken... it bit into some parts and hurled them around, but did not disconnect them... so i switched to the base one day and found everything horribly deformed and partly hovering in the air... however the brave kerbals had survived and managed to re-rig some of the torn off fuel lines of the ascension vehicle using the Kerbal Attachement System and made it safely into orbit and back home... Today only a flag reminds of the strange incident. But one day we will return! -
Nice - You could always install the Lazor Docking Cam to target your weapons. It wont even add parts to your game and removing the mod would do nothing to your save file. You can find the mod here: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/lazor-docking-cam/ And in action:

Should KSP have a Delta-V readout?
Frank_G replied to bsalis's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
In general i agree to your post. But personally i belong to those players who like to know the dV stats just to compare the designs. I dont look up the wiki for dV needed to reach X, i like to play the kerbal way - but i find it hard to guess what another fuel tank or engine does to dV or TWR without some numbers to compare. And i REALLY DONT want to do the maths. In my opinion at least some compareable stats should be provided by the stock game. -
Today Bill and Jeb landed on the Mun, during a short trip just for fun.

Very nice idea. You should post this as a suggestion -

Yes, the HUD information the VOID plugin f.e. delivers is all one needs during flight and construction. DeltaV, TWR, apoapsis, periapsis, inclination, radar altitude and exact horizontal / vertical speed would be not only useful but absolutely neccessary in my opinion. -
You should take a look at the youtube channel of HOCgaming. He did a nice space tourism series with ground based and orbital hotels, spaceplanes for passenger transfer, refueling systems and and...

As a game develops it becomes more and more optimized, so KSP will get less laggy the further it advances. I am quite sure, it will go this way and that there is need to worry.

A robotic tanker just docked to Munar Service Station I, to provide fuel for science operations on the munar surface. final approach ...and docked

I like that part too... And it has integrated lights as well. But i threw it out, just to be as close to stock as possible. But i dont really have a favorite port... I use the one that suits the task and design best.

Nicely done. I remember seeing a mod with proper nacelles on the spaceport about a week ago. Maybe you can push it even further -

Thanks! And in case something crashes into the solar panels, i included two complete spare solar trusses. Redundancy can make missions much less stressful, especially when not in kerbin orbit. Until this design, all my stations looked somwhat like an ISS replica. Thats one of the reasons, i didnt use any girders as main structure. -
Training for a trip to mars? And welcome to the forums, Max!

Did you change your clothes, ordered pizza or went to the shower during the flight? If there is a yes, i guess you'll have to do it again... Just for the right feeling i mean... - Congratulations anyway!

And done. Good luck with your project.

Bob Kerman proudly declared the new Munar Orbital Service Station for operational after he and 5 fellow kerbonauts unpackaged the station kit and did a nice and clean assembly work. Ok, its not a beauty, but its compact, lightweight, easy to assemble and will do the job. Stock parts only, this time. And a mood shot: -
Jeb, Bill and Bob threw a party, because the new LES made them walk away alive from a badly setup 2nd stage...

[1.1.2][1-1-2] May 13-2016 EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements

Thanks for this excellent mod! Everything looks so much more like the real thing and offers a much better feeling. I am encountering a flickering texture glitches with Jool (yet only checked in the tracking station) however. It only happens when looking from greater distance. If jool covers about the fourth of the screen height, the issue is gone. I have fiddled around with the settings and noticed, that i can reduce the flickering when moving the cloud layers further up. It looks like its a alpha blending or render layer issue. If you look into it and need any further testing or more precise description just contact me. -
Career for sure. It is more challenging, offers more rewards and is the best gametype to start with when new to KSP. I use sandbox for simulation and messing around, but in the end, i always play career mode. I thought differently a while ago, but after taking a deeper look, career mode is the best way to play the game for me. And i am eagerly looking forward to the upcoming features .24 will have in store.

Ok... some hours of design work, 8 launches and 2 hours of orbital assembly later... LKO-S II goes operational. -
Maybe the kerbal martyr sacrificed himself in a giant rocket explosion... and you didnt even add boosters... be ashamed!
