  1. @Mad Rocket Scientist I just thought about doing this and found you thought about this also, do you think anyone started a thread like this yet, I can't seem to find one?
  2. StarLab-7 Update I've updated the previous swivel by extending the wheel bearings to the edge of the batteries, this swivel is now working great. I was having a little bug trouble in 1.2. After returning to the craft from a saved game using the Tracking Station the craft separated into three sections, I found a walk around by returning to the saved game using F9 rather than using the Tracking Station. I decided to build the swivel and the power plant as one piece to reduce the complications, the results are here in this video. The Dawn Engines are giving too much spin so I will only use two per side for continuous rotation. If you did not see the first post, the plan for this project is to have a Double Ring Interplanetary Space Station with the Rings spinning in opposite directions.
  3. @The Aziz This is actually three vessels, I will explain and post a video soon on my next update and tag you when I do. @The Aziz see the video here, at the end you will see how the craft is setup before decoupling is done.
  4. StarLab-7 Update First I would like to mention I am bringing this project into the new 1.2 version of KSP. @The Aziz After taking a look at The Aziz's Idea it made me take a second look at my first swivel design for StarLab-7. This setup is looking cleaner at the moment and I've also noticed if I spread the wheels out towards the edges of the batteries it should help with the strength to decrease the chances of wobble. I will update later when more progress is done. Mission Complete
  5. Very cool idea, I was just working on a swivel for my ring station I started and this has very few parts and a much cleaner look, Impressive!
  6. @Bloojay Well lets get it back on the first page again Nice work!
  7. Very nice craft, that's beautiful work on those stock missiles
  8. @Rocket In My Pocket Just an fyi, I just spent a couple hours with this clever engineering and my attempt came up short. I would have loved to pull this one off but! too many parts in my design on my first go at it. The size would need to be much bigger, I might try it again later.
  9. StarLab-7 The plan is to build an interplanetary space station which will have two ring stations spinning in opposite direction. The core is a swivel that's working well at the moment but after the rings are attached and spinning this might not be the case. Next I will launch the Xenon Gas powered sections and dock them on each side. These are being built next. StarLab-7 Core Section in Kerbin Orbit Mission Complete
  10. Sector 7 Space Laboratories The Kerman Farm Tractor This is another one of those ideas I got while traveling on the road near my home town. I see lots of Sugar Cane Farming and when you have KSP on the brain things like these become fun little projects! Note: there are no guarantees you will get any plowing done! Photos Craft File: The Kerman Farm Tractor Parts: 176 Mass: 4.373t Height: 3.0m Width: 7.2m Length: 7.2m Operations: At the runway I am entering the pilot seat using a mod, use the rear of the runway to enter the lawn it's not so steep and less likely to damage the Impliment. When showing off the exhaust please note those engines will cause forward thrust.
  11. Thank you for the nice comment Lo Var Lachland!
  12. FYI, I tried those I-Beams on my V-Copter because they look nice and the weight made a big difference in handling.

To be fair, the I-beams are primarily there for weight, as well as something that can take withstand high speed landings.. for some flight mishaps :D

  13. I found this beautiful place on Kerbin during my Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. craft testing, man I need to get out more often! I decided to check it out in my new Kayak.
  14. Good question and good idea, I do need to start a repository for my craft, it's been long over due, when I upgrade to 1.2 I will try and get that done. The reason for Tri-Pack and not Quad is the Executive craft is a series and really not much changed between the two craft although Quad could be right too I guess? Anyone else got a take on this, leave as is or change to Quad?
  15. SECTOR 7 SPACE LABORATORIES Aircraft Tri-Pack The three craft each have their own unique flight characteristics and are a challenge to fly. The Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Aircraft is not exactly a replica but I like it, Jumpjet it is not but still looks nice and fun to fly. Sector 7-427 is an similar to an aircraft I see nearly everyday at my jobsite landing at the near by airport, I think it's a Boeing 717 but not sure. The Executive Express it a little top heavy and stall speed is not too good which makes it a fun challenge to land, especially knowing so many Kerbal lives are at stake. 16. I did get a chance to do something I've been wanting to do during this attempt. I did a long distance run with RipTide and wanted to run in the river shown in the pictures below, but ran out of fuel and came up short. Ran out of Fuel here
  17. @KandoKris The RipTide boat is working great but the bridge is still exploding at times and very time consuming to get each section there. I am calling it quits on this one.
  18. @KandoKris I found one of the places you pointed out and I am working on the bridge now, I will let you know how it goes later today. I am able to run at full warp, still takes a while.
  19. Because it can supply Fuel, RCS & Ore if you choose to.
