Man O' War A Kerbal Submarine Update 12.08.16 Started working on some Submarines, the Man O' War will be a Kerbal submarine shown in the Video below, the second is going to be a little more serious craft. Both subs will be released together when complete. Currently I am working on the 8 Torpedo Tubes, the Torpedos are launching.......somewhat and diving the sub is still needing some work. This Video is showing some progress. -
A very innovative design, I was trying your craft but didn't have much time I will try it again soon. I did enjoy it, also I learned about holding alt q&e to maintain the props spin, didn't know that thanks!

Aircraft Mobile Unit This craft was intended to be a Ground Mobile Unit until I thought about trying to fly it, and of course with a little more structural design wah la! we are Airborne. Now you can fly Multiple Aircraft without a mod. You could also detach all the Aircraft and add your own creation by creating an attachable sub assembly. The Aircraft I am using is the Cessna7, this is not an actual craft, most all my craft that indicate 7 or S7 are my look alike or look somewhat a like or just some idea I designed. In this case it's somewhat like a real Cessna Aircraft. Aircraft Mobile Unit Craft File: Aircraft Mobile Unit Parts: 274 Mass: 67.727t Height: 5.6m Width: 47.7m Length: 23.7m Cessna7 Craft File: Cessna7 Parts: 24 Mass: 5.506t Height: 3.7m Width: 11.3m Length: 9.1m Operation: Engage SAS and apply full Throttle, liftoff near 80 m/s. Use action group 1 to kill the Mobile Unit's Engines then action group 2 to deploy Parachutes. As always don't forget the Kerbals if you are planing to fly multiple Aircraft. Action Groups 1- Toggle Mobile Unit's Engines 2- Deploy Parachutes

Need help with SSTOs
Castille7 replied to PhylumCnidaria's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I can help a little but there are others that are a lot more educated on SSTO's. First try to make your re-entry on a slight angle if you are coming in with too much vertical your speed will increase more rather than slowing your speed. Air Brakes and a well balanced craft helps, often a craft will use lots of it fuel and when coming back on re-entry your fuel lost will have your craft with all the weight out of balance. Radiators can help with overheating, make sure they are activated when you begin to re-enter. With large craft I've noticed keeping your nose high will cause more drag to slow your speeds. I would say too much speed is one of the biggest fights I had with re-entry. Back to others on the forums with lots of SSTO experience, for one I would say @Rune I've learn a bunch from others on here and Rune can be a good help on this subject! -
Built this craft, it's the first Airliner that began passenger flight. It's a very difficult craft to fly and I didn't take the time to show video of the craft landing. This isn't the best landing but the craft was not damaged. Anyway this is a really laid back kind of Aircraft and very challenging to fly..........and land! If you like it you can find it on the Spacecraft Exchange Forum.

@Majorjim! Most every Rover I build has the option of man or un-manned, this one has a Rovemate.....mate!

These Submarines need a lot of work to complete. As for now I have an Attack Sub named Man O' War and the second Sub in the distance is not named yet. The Man O' War has an 8 round of Torpedoes on the bow. Both are moving on the water ok but neither are diving yet. Also this is my first time messing with a GIF Animation on the forums, not sure how or if it can be viewed without clicking on it. The Animation takes a little while for the Torpedo to launch. http://imgur.com/ZIA703V -

@JWOC Sorry for taking a while with this, I was finishing some other projects I've been wanting to complete for some time now. I just released this craft, you can find the original post here. I may one day still attempt to build that CB90, that will be one sweet looking craft!

Rage Runner The Rage Runner is an Offshore Oilfield Transportation Vessel AKA a Crewboat. This craft build would need so much more detail to be an actual replica of a crewboat. This is similar to one I operated when working as a Captain Offshore during the 80's & 90's, it was named the Mr. Blake. You can see it here with details and here is a Video of other Vessels for the same company as the Mr. Blake. The name Rage Runner got it's name from the often times I was unhappy about how Companies handle their business with these Vessels, including Coast Guard Regulations. Rage Runner Craft File: Rage Runner Parts: 796 Mass: 535.808t Height: 18.1m Width: 14.1m Length: 52.6m Rage Runner with Cargo Box Craft File: Rage Runner WC Parts: 1015 Mass: 595.308t Height: 18.1m Width: 14.1m Length: 52.6m Cargo Box Parts: 207 Mass: 58.890t Operation: At launch start with starboard engines only so the Vessel can travel off the side of the runway as shown in the video, enter the water slowly. Run all engines at full steering with keys DE, QA. Action Groups 1- Toggle Port Engines 2- Toggle Starboard Engines 3- Toggle Vector Engines
