I'm voting for .91, that would make me happy. And then a community go-no-go input before announcing 1.0
-
My feelings exactly. This goes right in line with recent nonsense coming from Squad.

Robotengineer , the Poll in use could get better results if the answers were not just YES or NO. My initial thought was I need to say NO because NOOOOOOOOOOOO.... I suggest a question like this Is the new forum a ridiculous idea? -It's a Terrible Idea -It's a Great Idea
-
Who has taken over the bridge over there at Squad? This is not the company that we fell in love with. Please leave the forums the way they are. We have a great community with lots of volunteers who do fabulous things. Those fabulous things make KSP what it is today. This new forum is destined to be an empty place and thus the end of our fabulous community. Seriously Squad, please find out who is authorizing these horrible ideas and get rid of them before KSP becomes a forgotten game.

[0.23.5] Goodspeed Automatic Fuel Pump v2.14.1
JedTech replied to Gaius's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This is still one of my must have mods. Thanks Goodspeed and thanks for recompiling for .90 Kolago! -
Do you feel KSP is ready for 1.0?
JedTech replied to hoojiwana's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Frankly, I am offended that Squad did not allow this wonderful community to beta test KSP before they released it. They should have released .91 and .92 and so on until features were tested and polished (with the communities help!) But go ahead Squad. Go do this without us. See how far you get. -
I am saddened by this but, I'm getting bored.
JedTech replied to LostElement's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I got bored, so I tried Eve Online. Original Problem Solved. New problem created. -

[1.12.3+] RealChute Parachute Systems v1.4.9.5 | 20/10/24
JedTech replied to stupid_chris's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I found TurielD's post to be helpful because as your message says: realchutes "may not work". Now I won't bother testing it myself because that gentleman was nice enough to test and inform us forum readers. Thanks for being helpful TurielD! -
Forum Veterans [And New Members!]: What was your first post?
JedTech replied to Starwhip's topic in Welcome Aboard
I was planning my first manned mission to Jool, (going for the Jool 5 Challenge). I was researching different transfer vessels that other people had used. I found one built by thegab, and I thought I'd make my first post to ask him about his design: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/69666 No one has responded to this day . But as you can see below, my Jool-5 transfer stage took many components from the images in "thegab's" thread. -
Rosetta, Philae and Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
JedTech replied to Vicomt's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Loss of any Primary objectives typically constitutes a failure of the mission. Secondary objectives are "Expected" Tertiary objectives are "Desired" -
Rosetta, Philae and Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
JedTech replied to Vicomt's topic in Science & Spaceflight
My question is: Why do they keep calling the landing a success? Harpoons: FAILED Ice Screws: FAILED reaction wheel: FAILED Thruster:FAILED Off Target ~0.6 miles 3 bounces Landing orientation: sub-optimal Landing Location: shady Before the landing they kept talking about how delicate things were and if even one thing went wrong it would lead to a mission failure. It seems to me that everything went wrong and they are still calling it a success? Do they even have primary/secondary/tertiary mission goals? -
[WIP] Actions Everywhere (Test Download Available))
JedTech replied to Diazo's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Would like an action group to return Focus to my vessel in map view. Maybe a Throttle up and throttle down action that increments thrust limiters of selected engines. -
Use the Module Manager fix in the post above yours. Or download the fixed parts from Post #163

JebediahKerman42's Procedural Part Textures!
JedTech replied to Freedom's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Thanks for these textures! By way of request, I'd prefer the Ares V texture to be a bit darker like the stock orange tank color. -
The Eve Rocks Challenge (v0.90 only)
JedTech replied to Laie's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
This looks fun! I've been looking for a good excuse to finally attempt an Eve return. Is there any limit to the number of launches from Kerbin I can do? I am thinking of 3-4 launches: 1 launch with the Eve Lander 1 launch with the Kerbin-Eve transfer stage. 1 launch with the Eve-Kerbin transfer stage. 1 launch with extra fuel. I would dock these all in orbit before leaving for Eve. -
I don't personally have the desire to deal with 64-bit issues anymore. But I am thankful that this mod is allowing other people to continue to experiment with it. Thank you Senshi for your contribution of this mod to our community! I think that your efforts on this mod will lead the community to better knowledge on how to handle the challenges with 64 bit KSP. They will also enable more people to use 64-bit which will in turn let Squad know that 64-bit is really the direction we would like them to go.

Assign an action group to occur X amount of seconds after another action group. An automatic solar panel action group to toggle all solar panels.

Just wanted to let this crowd know that some of you may be able to get "Gravity" for free today. It seems to only work on "Nexus 5" devices. You just open the "Googe Play Movies & TV" app and there it is asking if you want to Add to Library. I have a Nexus 5 and this worked for me!!! See this post for more info: http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/10/28/nexus-5-owners-check-your-google-play-movies-tv-app-you-might-have-a-free-copy-of-gravity-waiting-for-you/ EDIT: ....not to say that I like this movie. "Gravity" is a bad name for a movie that constantly disregards the natural laws of gravity. But if I disregard the Kerbal inside of me, I am able to enjoy this movie.. a little.
