  1. We've seen Eve, and it seemed to have infinite fuel as well. I love the idea of resource mining, but this is kind of ridiculous. - - - Updated - - - In my opinion, the reason to have stock bases should be science.
  2. An opening cinematic would be fine. Any more than that may be unnecessary.
  3. Last time I tried it, I don't think it worked. If it doesn't, it probably should.
  4. My main SSTO lifts 4 tons to a 150km orbit. I've made quite a few far reaching probes that are under 4 tons.

  6. My Space Program uses a lot of SSTO flights. That being said, yes, they are overpowered. I think they should still be in the game, but maybe with more specialized / expensive engines. The whole jet engine / air intake situation in KSP needs to be reexamined.
  7. ...or just not have them in staging? It's more of a quality of life suggestion. It's not like we can't deal with it as is.
  8. So now I'm thinking something more like the NASA pack. Probably ESA, but I'd also like some Space X love.
  9. The Mystery Goo and the Material Bay were a big disappoint. They seemed like a lazy cop out after the thermometer and barometer. More actual science equipment would be great.
  10. You mean having two highly visible stats that don't actually do anything might confuse new players? Why weren't classes tied to these? If at some point Squad decided to not use these stats, why haven't they removed them?
  11. I really like this idea. I'm currently using procedural to replace quite a few parts.
  12. I'd imagine they'll just use the current wings with added fuel. They are added Mk3 wings, though. So, I guess we'll see.
  13. That's a lot of "Karbonite" on Eve. I hope there's a slider in the difficulty menu for those of us who want to work for our free resources. - - - Updated - - - We've all seen Max's designs. Is anyone surprised his rockets are falling apart in realistic atmo?
  14. Can you even tell if the current stock gear have lights from a side angle? I think you're jumping to conclusions.
  15. Now if we can get some more varied engines and an open cockpit, my aeroplane dreams will be complete.
  16. I like it. My only concern is the ponytail. The way Diverse Kerbal Heads did hairstyles allowed for more variety. The ponytail limits that. Then, I suppose Squad is sticking with the clone concept to encourage players to see Kerbals as disposable. So, a singular hairstyle is really of little concern to them. edit: My Kerbals are not disposable.
  17. I suppose I should actually answer the question. I chose "Somewhat realistic, re-entry heat, actual aerodynamics", but am actually somewhere berween "Somewhat realistic, re-entry heat, actual aerodynamics" and "Very realistic, full scale planets, realistic fuels"
  18. Oh, man. Now I kind of want FTL2 to have Sim City like customization. I know. Some of us are weird and like that kind of minutia.
