That makes more sense.

That's how financial transactions happen?

Nice work all! Hope this makes it in the next hotfix.

If I tell you I don't kick puppies, I'm not giving you legal advice. It's not that complicated. I have little faith in brains these days.

So, if I start saying lies about you, you're not going to speak up? This is real life that could affect their reputation. Say something. Hey, guys? Think we should clear up this misinformation? Sure. Okay. Will do. ... Man, to bad that took a week and tens of meetings to figure out.

It doesn't help that Squad isn't really saying anything. I've heard the defense of "They need to talk to their lawyers to say the right thing" or something. Is it really that hard to say "Come on, guys. Seriously? We're not gathering your personal info. Cool your jets." KSP isn't spyware, but Squad's silence is giving people ammunition.

I was on 1.0.4 for the longest time, and didn't upgrade until 1.3. I feel 1.3.1 is a fine version to stop at if need be, but 1.4 certainly has some features I wouldn't mind having. Time will tell.

You know what. I'm totally putting a draconian EULA on the album I'm working on. Try and stop me. Think those other people in your car can listen to my music? I don't think so. They haven't licensed it. What were you thinking? You're obviously a criminal. I'm revoking your license. Take that evil doer.

I read this, and I believe it, but in this same thread people state companies must do this to protect their IP. If they aren't legally enforceable, than how are they protection at all? What's the point? It's one or the other isn't it? It really just feels like consumers are getting walking all over for no reason.

Kerbal Space Program update 1.4 Grand Discussion thread.
klgraham1013 replied to UomoCapra's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Haven't played much of this update. Are the parachute packs always visible? Seems to add a lot of awkward bulk to the back of the Kerbal design. Thinking on it, it would be interesting if you had to choose between parachute or EVA pack. Low level Kerbal's could even start with parachutes instead of EVA packs, as Kerbals in the early game are more likely to need to bail out within the atmosphere, and need maneuverability in space in the mid game. As it is now, by the time a Kerbal gets his parachute, any life saving attribute it may have had will be long past. Just a few thoughts off the top of my head. edit: Looking at it in game, it's not insanely bulky. -
Preface: I don't actually think this EULA will change anything, I do find it really disturbing that people are cool with giving companies unwarranted power under the assumption that they won't use it. It's just a weird concept to me. We're going to give you all this over-reaching power to do all these things we don't want you to do, but it's cool. We trust ya.

Well. There's the only real interest i had in moving to 1.4 gone. NICE! -
Because, as we know, FAQ's supersede legal documents.

Everyone sign that EULA? Good! Now have fun! Neat! I will like this! This statement would have been good in another thread I can think of! Will every DLC release come with a hotfix that breaks mods? -

So this is why I signed that draconian EULA today. -
I still don't understand how giving an answer about a contract to the other party who is entering into said contract is somehow bad practice. If so, anyone I've ever entered into a contract with was behaving very poorly. I will turn them in to the proper authorities post haste.

I actually had to accept the terms by read and clicking things! I was wrong!
