Bob I know you have a lot to do and that you have scaled back a lot but now that you have multiple launch points it shouldn't be glazed over that most of the rockets launched into space were utilized, designed, and intended to deliver thermonuclear weapons. The Proton was designed as super heavy ICBM and was test launched in 1965. So although it would be expansive maybe a possible miniseries could be launching the rockets as ICBMS and showing just how devastating they might be. It might be an intresting challenge to launch an ICBM from Russia and try and hit NYC or Washington DC. Useing Kerbal Konstructs and the nukes in BD Armory. IDK if I have seen anything like that in KSP series especially in RSS. Might be worth your consideration.

Maybe I am confused but arent those the same nukes from Orion? I swear I am not being argumentative or sarcastic. Sometimes because of the tone of these forums and just because of text based communication alot gets lost. I was under the impression those nukes were from Orion. - - - Updated - - - NEVERMIND NEVERMIND NEVERMIND. Instead of screenshooting I should have looked for myself. I just downloaded Orion again to see. Sorry for the the confusion. It was all my fault.

Hello Blackheart! Just a bump looking to see if you are still on the forums? I miss your parts, patches are ehhh but looking for the stuff you were working on. IRL is more important of course just curious if you were going to come back.

Someone a few pages back recommended and I feel it needs to be said again that you guys should take advantage of the FASA infrastructure as much as possible. Especially or tanks, decouplers, etc. Your new engines will obviously be welcome but for example with Spacelab you need a Saturn V and the best option would be to us FASAs SV. So we are talking about part counts an memory consumption here. Leaning on FASA really isn't a bad idea. If you want to make everything totally yours thats fine. But the FASA style fits and if you make your engines ands parts work well with FASA it will be mutually beneficial for you guys and FASA users.

That is a very salient point however I think what is also being overlooked, and I don't want to be too presumptuous but isn't it a possibility Kyle and Winston might want to wait until 1.1? It is to my understanding that 1.1 will basically break all mods including just simply part mods? So I think we need to wait for 1.1 since that very much can be seen on the horizon. If and only if a substantial amount of time has passed without hearing word from K&W then we can discuss this mod being dead. Even then as it was stated this mod has an optimal license that will ensure its survival long past K&W. Patience is something that is sorely missing from this community along with appreciation. Only time will tell what the fate of this mod is....when I see people asking if a mod is dead or dying I often recall the words of the great master Yoda...... "Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealously. The shadow of greed, that is."

I agree however maybe in the beginning especially the ISS those are touchstone moments. I mean the launching of Zarya and Harmony should be part of Alexandria. Its not like Mir or ISS were built in a year. Each year stuff happens and then an ISS section or a Mir section. I mean each mission or expeditions are the same. There only a few a year. So I think that Alexandria and Mir kinda do fit into Alexandria.

Ok so this a spoiler thread o don't have a problem with spoilers being posted. However for people who might not want to know what happens use the spoiler tags. It's easy to do and it allows people who want to see spoilers and people don't don't have to see them. I am gonna make this a rule for about 2 weeks. I think that's a fair amount of time to give people to see the movie. But yes this thread most people read the books and the ending is the only really spoiler. Still use the tags it's not a big deal.

P So a few things. First of all as useually the parts looks gorgeous! There is no questioning that. But one could you make that reflection shader optional like FASA and make nice textures for people who don't want to use the reflection plugin. My computer for one really doesn't like that plugin. FASA did this I don't know exactly how but even without the reflection plugin. It's still looked nice. Second the command module looks a little too much like a triangle maybe? Idk it's just me. I think it needs to be more rounded particularly around the bottom. That's all for me right now.

[1.0.5] Kerbal Planetary Base Systems v1.0.2 Released!
sp1989 replied to Nils277's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
It's probably because they aren't classified as wheels but landing legs. Even though they are both. -
Frizznak I can't thank you enough. FASA is a touchstone mod that typically get people into playing with a modded KSP. FASA has been updated through over the 7 updates and iterations of KSP I have experienced. FASA was the reason I joined the KSP forums. This was the first thread I subscribed to, and the first thread I commented on. You have certainly been an integral part for many KSP users. Good luck and hopefully we will see you soon.

Interesting! I mean that's a spoiler that isn't going to change perspective of watching the movie especially if you read the book. I need to to know!! Please tell me! Does Lewis make a call down to Houston saying "rich purnell is a steely eyed middle man!" Use a spoiler tag. That needs to be in the movie.

Honestly this is a spoiler thread. You can use the spoiler option. Here is how to make a spoiler tag just in case you don't know how. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/88368-How-to-make-Spoilers Again this is a spoiler thread. If you read the book how bad are the spoilers?

Douglas Adams said it best when it comes to deadlines. “I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by.†-
