No clue when it comes to Mint, but on Ubuntu you can either use the open source driver or install the propriety Nvidia one. I'm using the nvidia-515 driver pack and getting similar result as under windows.

No, it's experiments that is performed by a kerbonaut (scientist) on EVA. Requires that you put an EVA experiment pack in the backpack. Then r-click and select perform EVA Experiment.

Why not create an archive (like a zip) of the folders you want, The you just have unpack it to restore files and folders.

Open your GameData/SquadExpansion folder Then move the Serenity folder somewhere outside GameDate (Desktop or some other place where you can find again ...) Just tried and it didn't seem to leave any nasty side effects, unless you have crafts using parts from Breaking Grounds that is.

Have you checked to first two post in the MM thread? There's quite a lot of help and examples there,

One is enough, actually more than one is asking for trouble due to the way that crafts are structured in KSP. Adding struts via construction, auto-struts or (my favorite) EVA Struts is optional.
