1. I'll test this tomorrow and report back next year.
2. Ah, as in Planned Rapid Disassembly, instead of Unplanned/Unexpected Rapid Disassembly.
3. You get what you deserve. Tomorrow we'll continue to yell at you for not fixing [insert j.random bug]
4. I prefer going on SWAG or eyeball-engineering. Mainly because I think it's funner, but also because I know my own OCD tendencies. So if I start to look for the 'optimal' solution I can easily sink evening after evening into research, testing, math and coding. Without getting anything actually done in the game
5. This is exactly how I do it too. My only problem is that I sometime get stuck in the "simulator" doing ridiculous stuff for too long and forget the result of my "simulation" (yes, I'm old)
6. I don't have my (scary) numbers for KSP since I don't use Steam. But I checked that other spaceish game and ended up with 1y 175d 17h and 6m ...
7. After way to many hours in flight sims, mostly military ones, I do miss a proper HUD. Sure, the instrumentation is mostly available in the navball but I still miss stuff like nav pointers, ILS and similar wibnifs.
8. Not sure either, but I think your gf likes that you're not oogling (other) pretty girls But don't tell her about Valentina ...
9. Even more so if your program not only is cross platform, but also developed in an existing external engine like Unity.
10. Well, actually no. Plaintext editors, like vim or notepad yes, But almost every editor for formatted text for the last 30+ years are supposed to insert linebreaks automagically (based on page size) and Enter/Return is used to create a new paragraph, So using shift+enter to create a manual linebreak is very much standard.
11. I'm 53 and the first computer I managed to lay my hands on was PET 2001 in the school's new computer club in 1977.
12. One could try to advertise it to tourists as a very exclusive (and expensive) tanning studio for rich and influential Kerbal. (Or would that be a greening studio?)
13. Shh, it's a secret. Not many knows, or rather accepts, that the spacefaring Kerbals came from planet Acirfa.
14. I prefer realistic enough to explode when totally bonkers while allowing someone with basic understanding of physics to figure out how to correct the problem. While being a bit whacky and cartoonish when stuff go wrong to encourage experimentation
15. I've roleplayed i KSP from my first launch. Which is a bit odd since it's a single player game. I do understand how my RP could have created all kind of mayhem and annoyance for our heroic mods. But I'm Swedish and we already know how fantastic we are so I've never had any reason to write about it.
16.
I hear you will have Squad's beak and feathers in return.
But isn't that cheating? We can't call for you being rolled out of town in tar and feathers if you've got feathers before we start! Bloody dev-hacks :/
17.
Thanks from me as well! I use backslash for staging (because the spacebar is too easy to hit accidentally), and that new behavior has been annoying.
I can't ignore this obvious xkcd reference:
18. That's two words I'd never believe that I'd see together before trying KSP
