Top of the morning to ya and a huge welcome back for me during my KSP seasonal break. I missed you all. I am now playing KSP again this winter, but with a shocking twist. IM GOING TO MAKE MY FIRST PARTS MOD!! And what better way to do that than to introduce : MARS SCIENCE LABRATORY! (MSL) The primary objective for this mod is to release all the parts necessary to encapsulate your lander/rover payloads for transit to your EDL choice of location. I have a few parts done which are scaled to the Curiosity mission. My secondary goal is to release parts based around the historical timeline. For example I would make the areoshell re-scaled to meet the standards of the vintage Viking/Mariner landers. The MER rovers would then use a different setup. But what do you guys think? I might actually make a rover! That is if Im able to do animations Well here are some pics to show some work that is being done. As in the words of Ben from TMRO, "If your not bending metal, your not serious about going to space". WARNING: All parts are hand-crafted by me (it will be okay, trust me The early alpha is here for testing! I have two parts ready with a 3rd part (cruise stage) being now worked on. AFAIK, the "all moving" ones have all 3 (yaw,pitch,roll) baked right into the part. Therefore you can have a wing with built in control surfaces. Saves on part count On aside note, this is my first post since the 6 month Kerbal break. I welcome to get to know you and all the new faces here at Kerbalspaceprogram.com !

This is fixed by removing the ETC folder -
first! I approve! My goal is to parallel a space program with the years matching up to the real ones and without them going wacky due to time warping stuff! Holy crapp that should be a reddit challenge My starting year would be about 1942 and I would start the career mode with BD armoury and do all the WW2 tanks and fighter planes with bombers and stuff!

make sure you just remove the .dll only or you will lose your crafts due to missing parts -

also to point out pretty much all the spacecraft is covered by FASA, Laztech,RN, Kart, DECQ,Bobcat, ect. for everything ever launched by NASA. But if you can find a craft nobody has made, by all means we are all ears -
would really like if there was an ability to select vessels right at the space center. is that maybe a possibility in a future release?

anyone have a valid craft file (from 1.0.5) of the falcon 9? There is no 1.1 version and the VAB flags the craft as incompatible. I have to have the 1.1 version due to issues with 1.1.2 -

will you be adding selection of vessel from space center ? I have a corrupt tracking station and cannot select vessels anymore -

I like where this is going. I think all official channels of spaceflight should interwine with us modders and make a truly mind blowing and emotional experience! and then give us jobs LMAO! -

although the official has 5x the frame rate , I get 3 times more crashes than the workaround. I dont know weather to chalk it up as you cant have you cake and eat it too , or maybe the fact the official should actually perform with re-guards to a 40$ price tag.- 16 replies
