  1. Those wings look like overkill, you could definitely get away with making them a good deal smaller, so that your plane can space
  2. you can pick up the whole craft with Shift+ click and rotate it any which way with WASD Also this should be gameplay questions
  3. I've recently noticed that youtube videos embeded in the forums do not have the ability to go fullscreen without actually going to youtube, is there a reason with for this or is it just a switch the devs could turn on at any time? example:
  4. I usually go for a 125 km orbit for 100x time warp, you don't have too build things too much bigger to achieve it

  12. Have the anomaly fire a transmogrification beam at ship, a la Calvin and Hobbes, it could add an interesting twist as the anomalies have been made out to be hostile so far, but would help the Avalon by transforming it.
  13. Install linux! It is probably not as hard to install as you think, runs KSP super well (green timer 25% of the time on my 2011 macbook air), and is extremely user friendly if you choose a good distro, (I recommend elementary os, it's lightweight and Ubuntu based) with the numix circle icon pack, it looks super good.
  14. right now I'm working on a spaceplane that can get to orbit with a decent payload and +2000m/s of delta-v left over, i've nailed getting to orbit but cannot for the life of me design a plane that reenters without stalling all over the place around 30km. I use FAR for added difficulty
  15. What really helps is using some kind of life support mod, (I recommend USI-LS), it forces yuo to either invest time to make bases sustainable or come back and do resupply / crew rotation missions.
  16. I don't have a cannon, this is a space simulator, not a 19th century warfare simulator
  17. Has anyone gotten an MK4 ssto working under FAR? Everything I try to build needs way too much speed to take off or has wings that are just way too huge.
  18. when I played the demo (the old .18 one) I could not no matter how hard I tried, do a mun return mission, I probably stranded around 15 kerbals trying:blush:
  19. Have you tried poking it with a stick? If that doesn't work, try turning it off and on again, that fixes most universe glitches.
  20. It's also good to note that IIRC radiators do absolutely nothing on reentry
