  1. Just started a new career game after a long career hiatus, did a mun flyby tourist contract with only 6m/s of delta-v to spare. Not a drop of fuel was wasted

  4. The KSC warp to morning feature is great and all, but I find myself wanting to warp to morning on the launchpad far more often. It would be awesome if we could warp to morning whenever the craft is landed and has timewarp available.
  5. Before you do this, delete the Squad folder from GameData, when I upgraded to 1.0.2, I found every single engine to have next to no thrust. (the 48-7S had a thrust of 8 in vacuum)

  7. My personal theory is that when x64 was widely available, everyone was trying to use it, even people with janky systems that really shouldn't. Now that it is a much more technical hack, the people running x64 are much more likely to have stable systems and know what they are doing. This is also where the support issues come in. If you don't have the proper know-how to have a sufficiently stable system, you are much more likely to run for help instead of solving the problem yourself. I run linux myself, so I can't comment on the actual stability. This is just an idea I had on the spot.
  8. What I did was delete the squad folder from GameData and did a merge and replace of everything else. Everything seems to be working fine.

  12. can we use nerteas Heat Control? I have a nuke spaceplane but the nukes can't run for more than 5 minutes without it. (plus it looks cool)
  13. The guide in my sig is for FAR, but most of it should still apply to Duna. The key thing is not necessarily to have big wings (although that does help) but to land on a flat place, and most importantly, kill a ton of speed before you land. On Duna, retrorockets may be a better way to do this. Check out the link in my sig for more info. --Edit-- Use that dropping out of the sky as an advantage, find a hill that slopes downwards not too steep and flare right before you land, the downwards slope had the effect of slowing down your vertical speed.
