  1. We can always replace it with a more suitable lighter model. It's just this mechanic doesn't work anymore, you try to cling with a 'physic' equipped hook to a part, NRE happens and everything floats in different directions.
  2. @IgorZ In the old days when we had only KAS, it was possible to spawn any part on a kerbal and that part would still retain all of its properties. And the grappling hook worked, as unbelievable as it sounds. Sure it was very hard to move tanks in orbit with a jetpack, but you could cling to any surface with it, no ladder sliding : )
  3. @MaxwellsDemon To avoid the middle zone one should start aligning the retrograde and anti-target vectors in Navball Target Mode at 6 km distance during rendezvous. If that happened and your vehicle is drifting near the target at a distance of 4-10 km with low relative speed, you can: - Check the orbital period of your target. - If your active vessel is on a trailing orbit and needs to catch up - reduce the orbital period relative to your target - Increase the orbital period if your vessel is ahead of your target on the orbit. Make sure your current orbit still matches the orbital inclination of your target. Usually 1-3 min difference in orbital periods will guarantee that you will drift past the target at a distance of around 400m in 2-5 orbits. P.S. All numbers are crude approximations from my head, they differ depending on your orbital altitude, I followed this simple rule in my early KSP days and it works.
  4. You do realize that only processing times by the certifying agencies hold off the release? Squad can do nothing to speed up the process. You can blame and thank the bureaucracy of EU.

  13. @nightingale @pap1723 @5thHorseman Finished two variants of the flag planting icon. Again looking for ideas on coloring them appropriately. I can probably draw a lander near the flag an simplify the image on the right.

  16. @nightingale @pap1723 If my icons strike your fancy feel free to use them Some might find them too simplistic, but that was the plan. They're actually very easy to make. I stirred them up in under 3 hours. I'm currently on a creative burnout, but can give shape to any of your sketches and make them look like a part of the set.
  17. There actually is. You upen the .mu file via Notepad and scroll down to the end of the document to see the names of the required textures, extension is irrelevant.
  18. @magnemoe Yeah, obstructed hatch is a known bug which appeared with KSP 1.1. I will fix the model when I have time. For now you can transfer kerbals to another pod.
