  1. Here you go. You just have to click anywhere on the white and black top housing assembly thing. Exactly at the target is where I clicked to get this:
  2. Screenshot please. Open the contract window on the toolbar and look at what the objectives are and which are checked off as satisfied. Did you bring everything you were supposed to on the craft?
  3. You're not suggesting it is a 2-syllable word with that dash, are you? You simply mean Mun, as in "fun", not Moon as in loon, right?
  4. Yeah, post the craft file. I'll have a look-see.
  5. You'd think this is the kind of stuff they'd work out in Beta.
  6. The spot you have to click for them is a little off. Mouse over them when you're on the runway until it light up green, you'll know you're over it.
  7. It works for me. A little smaller than a golf ball floating about 4 inches from my nose.
  8. Here, this is the article link where you can leave comments: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/content/350-Development-Relay
  9. This guy couldn't get enough high-speed boating! He loved it.
  10. I've moved my Steam screenshot key to Pause/Break, and it works fine. There are a few games that use f12 so it had to go.
  11. Good eyes fellas, thats exactly what it looks like.
  12. Just drag it out of your steam folder and play it by itself.
  13. KW rocketry for some engine options. EVE for clouds. Alarm Clock, Kerbal Engineer. Thats really all you need. Navyfish's docking mod if you can't manage without it. The rest is just candy and if it distracts you from the core of the game, which is playing it, then leave them out for now. Set some funky goals, let loose a little. Orbit the Sun as low as you can. Send something to Jool. Maybe something with parachutes to Laythe. Check out an asteroid, plant a flag on one. Send unmanned rovers places. Unmanned Probes. They're lighter and therefore easier to get places, and it'll show you how to do more complex flights without some enormous mothership. There is lots to do, but you need imagination to create some goals. Form the goals comes adventures you hadn't counted on having.
  14. Okay, a few alterations to the final craft and and I made my run. I could shave some more time of this, but I think its a reasonable submission: 2:59 Edit: Oh, hey, I guess I missed the bit about landing in the same direction as takeoff from the first runway. I'll have to redo it.
  15. I also have Airbrakes on either side of the outer thingies, so I didn't know if they counted as more than 2 control surfaces. They aren't attached to the wings, per se, so I guess this is valid? I've made a few tweaks to the design, dropped the drop tank idea (see what I did there?), and am getting better times. I think I have a free version of dxtory that should be able to record my official entry flight.
  16. I just gave this a shot. I'm getting just over 4 minutes. I'll try and get that down and post results. My craft looks ridiculous, lol. Edit: Yup, 3:41 on my last go. Question: are drop tanks allowed? Forget that, better solution. Is this craft legal?
  17. Holy moly, someone actually looked at those!?! Thank you None of my friends are into KSP, so they never appreciate my accomplishments, lol. The only change in graphics I have that might be modifying that scene is Environmental Visual Enhancements, which probably puts clouds around Jool. I use Distant Object Enhancement too, but everything you're seeing there is loaded and probably not altered by it. I don't have any shadows mod, but I do think I have them cranked up in the settings maybe?
  18. Indeed. Play with your thrust levels on boosters stages and such, so you don't go screaming up, you want to stay around 250m/sec or so for the first while, then you can get faster once you're through some of the thicker air. Also, I find I dont use SAS on the initial stages or you get too much wobble. Potentially limit engine gimbal as well. I'll turn it on when I am just about to go to my upper stage, higher up where there is less air for the gimbaling to fight against causing wobble. Re-entry can be tough too with the heat, and aerocapturing is vastly different now.
  19. The atmosphere changed with 1.0, and then changed a few more times with subsequent panic patches. What to do now is to pitch 10 degrees after about 1km off the launchpad (sometimes less) to initiate a gravity turn into orbit. By 10-15km I am at 45 degrees, I burn out of the atmosphere and circularize. Atmo still stops at 70km. Its a little different than the ol straight up to 10k and turn, you have to watch your speed as heating can become a factor if you're too fast.
  20. I always thought an animated one should pop out like the Abort button does, but on the right side of that upper UI thing instead. Maybe that would be easy to do?
  21. If you can go sideways (which is J and L), then IJKL have to be working, no?
  22. One I thought of today, I like to sink the small batman batteries into my crafts so only the cylinders stick out. All_the_time.
