  1. I'm not the expert, but according to @allista most recent post the last release of the mod is for 1.4.5. Not sure if there was any issues with the jump from that to 1.6
  2. In following this thread it seems people are running into some bugginess in 1.6 I'm not sure if anyone added issues to GitHub (haven't looked)
  3. Well it would be fair to say the mod state is a bit messy. AFAIK the only actual 1.5/1.6 compatible release is the constallation release. I don't see any individual releases. I would venture to guess @RoverDude is pretty busy with life and mods are pretty far down the priority list (as they should be). Updating threads are even lower on the list. In many cases repeated questions can also be avoided by users taking some time either reading back or searching before asking. If we value mods and modders this can go a fair way in giving them more free time to actually work on the mods.
  4. If you also posted in the github I replied there. Regardless of how you feel about it, the issue resides on the KIS side. I'm not even sure @RoverDude would have a way to track it from the MKS side to generate an error or warning.
  5. Yes, It isn't a bug. Seat inventory is not real inventory. https://github.com/UmbraSpaceIndustries/MKS/issues/1314
  6. modulemanager config files are not folder specific. You can literally drop it anywhere under gamedata. Often people make a custom config folder to keep them organized.
  7. I believe the only release that is going to work right now is the constellation release. As it was the only release so far for 1.5. Since there were no breaking API changes between 1.5 and 1.6 pretty much all mods for 1.5 also work in 1.6 So for now if all you want is this mod, you'd have to DL the constellation and remove out the parts you dont want, which shouldn't be too hard by comparing the folders between the konstruction mod and constellation. https://github.com/BobPalmer/USI_Constellation/releases It's pretty obvious I'm a pretty hardcore fan of @RoverDude and his mods. It's also safe to say at this current time the state of his mods and threads are kind of a mess, as most individual mods haven't been updated, and many don't know about the constellation release unless they are watching all of these threads all the time. I'm sure he will get things cleaned up as he finds time.
  8. Still not really. I mean it gets into splitting hairs in a way. the .cfg files are not executables, so they are not "run". They however "read" by the modulemanager .dll when it is invoked.
  9. you don't "make it run". It is just a config file. module manager parses all of the config files it finds in the gamedata folder when you start KSP.
  10. Ah cmon @dlrk. I'll probably catch mod heck for this (as I usually do) but you've been around here longer than I have. You should know the drill by now. It's not like version talk isn't plastered all over the last 3-5 pages of the thread. But I'll tell you anyway. The constellation release works for 1.5.1 and while it will give version errors at launch seems to work fine in 1.6.
  11. I just fired up 1.6 with the usi constellation release and the ports work fine. So either: 1. you are doing something wrong 2. you have an installation problem 3. you have some other mod conflict. either way without more information we can't help you. Screenshots, screenshot of your gamedata folder, logs etc.
  12. I posted the link to the constellation release, as did @fragzilla17 after me.
  13. You are not using the latest version. For 1.6 use the latest constellation release. It will still complain about the version (except it will reference 1.5) but it works. https://github.com/BobPalmer/USI_Constellation/releases
  14. LS looks fine to me on 1.6.1. It is functioning and all of the parts show in the tree.
  15. I'm definitely not. I've just been around here for about forever. I still scan and keep up on my favorite KSP threads daily. And I know how busy @RoverDude is with all of his mods, and everything else with his life. So anytime I can help answer a question and save him time it's more time he can spend on the mods or whatever
  16. Firespitter's tank switching function is the primary purpose of that mod's inclusion (and by mod it's just the .DLL). So if you don't care about all of the tank switching I guess you could get rid of it. Unless I missed a change @RoverDude has been a contractor for Squad for quite some time. It has been discussed before, but with the very specific nature of MKS it is unlikely you'd see it integrated into stock. It is an amazing gameplay addition but it would be way more than many people want in the stock game.
  17. I don't know if either of you gave version details. I seek to recall this being an issue with some version but you'd have to dig back through the thread to verify
  18. This mod is just a bunch of config files that define various resources. It isn't version specific.
  19. Well not really. It is intended behavior. It isn't a bug. Seat inventory is not "real" KIS inventory like a container. It was only implemented to allow you to give a kerbal KIS items in their backpack at launch, since you cannot directly interact with kerbals in the VAB. You could maybe consider it a bug that KIS doesn't have a feature for a persistent "backpack" for each kerbal, but either way this is all on the KIS side, not here. So inflatable parts without seats when deflated will encounter the issue of parts disappearing. If you attempt to put KIS items into an empty seat they will go poof as well. There has been discussion in the KIS thread about changing this part of KIS in the future.
  20. It is a long standing issue. Put your tools away in a proper storage container before entering any inflatable modules.
