[1.12.x] Tarsier Space Technology with Galaxies (V7.13) 12th Sep 2021
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Version 7.7 published fixes a couple of things. Works in KSP 1.7.2 Re-compile for KSP 1.7.2 (include required code changes). Fixed NRE on experiment science return in 1.7.2. Added contract synopsis text to contract notes that will now show in the stock contracts app. Fixed game settings not applying correct in-game when changed. -

I see lots of errors.. but non are related to this mod. So from what I can see in your log... there's no errors being thrown by this mod. -
[1.12.x] Tarsier Space Technology with Galaxies (V7.13) 12th Sep 2021

It doesn't have Contract Configurator cfg because this mod is not reliant on that mod. Nor do I intend it to be at this stage. But I think this is what you're after: -
[1.12.x] Tarsier Space Technology with Galaxies (V7.13) 12th Sep 2021

Thanks for that. I'll try to get a fix out in the next few days. -
Yes that’s the one. And last I checked it still worked in 1.7.0, If it isn’t in 1.7.1/2 let me know and I’ll update it.

The weather station is a deployed science part. You have to deploy it on the surface of a planet that has an atmosphere. Along with a control station and power units (deployed science solar panel or deployed science RTG). They have to be deployed by Kerbals. But can be left running to collect stand transmit science back to Kerbin over time.

Try with the 1.7.2 patch,. There were fixes done to how the surface features are placed. Minmus was indeed badly affected by this bug.

There was a problem with build 2555 for those that don’t have Breaking Ground expansion installed. If you don’t have Breaking Ground you should ensure you have build 2556 showing at the. Orrin right corner when you start the game. For those that do have Breaking Ground it won’t matter if you have either. Details of the problem that was fixed can be found here.

Yup. so if you turn this on... the right click menu (PAW) of the cryopod parts will show temperature info. Disapating heat is done by using radiators.

Does the impactor experiment require destruction?
JPLRepo replied to RocketSquid's topic in Breaking Ground Discussion
Asteroids now end in ‘splosions for a while now. On atmosphere planets you have to follow them down, otherwise the game deletes them as debris. where there is no atmosphere, the game won’t delete them, so they are safe to switch away from. -
Having issues with robotic parts separating in editor
JPLRepo replied to Tomtomdb83's topic in Breaking Ground Support
Can you provide more information? some screenshots? reproduction steps? Perhaps raise a bug report. -

Must end in destruction. -
Enabling Surface features without new savegame?
JPLRepo replied to Serenity's topic in Breaking Ground Discussion
The ROCseed is indeed a random seed value. A value of -1 means no surface features in this save. Any other integer number results in surface features. Using the same integer number means the surface features will appear in exactly the same place in each save. Adding this to an existing save comes with the risk of something (landed vessels in the save) being in the wrong place at the wrong time and exploding. Doing this is something you can do to existing saves - but it’s not supported. -
As you are at the central station it acts as a regular vessel. So when you use time warp it goes on rails and unloads all its modules. When you leave it and go somewhere else in the game a seperate process takes over the management. I can understand how this could be seen as a bug. Raising it on the bug tracker - we can investigate a solution.

How do you connect surface deployable?
JPLRepo replied to Thelizard's topic in Breaking Ground Support
Connect them when you deploy them on the ground?, they automatically connect to the nearest central station part that is within a 20m radius. -
Strange docking behaviour with robotic parts
JPLRepo replied to Levelord's topic in Breaking Ground Support
Robotic parts are not separate crafts. There is something going on here. Raising a bug report and providing good information to reproduce along with attaching craft files will make QAs job and a dev able to quickly identify and find a fix to the problem. -

Kerbal Space Program DLC: “Breaking Gound” Grand Discussion Thread
JPLRepo replied to UomoCapra's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Yeah I think people are confusing existing anomolies in the game vs the new surface features that are part of Breaking Ground Expansion. -
Kerbal Space Program DLC: “Breaking Gound” Grand Discussion Thread
JPLRepo replied to UomoCapra's topic in KSP1 Discussion
They are specific to planets and specific biomes on said planets. and they are random with each save game. -
Yes the new surface features have colliders. The current scatter terrain is unchanged. You have to wait and see on the third question what the future brings. It does not use the existing scatter system. It's a whole new system. They have collisions, but are not added to existing saves because of that (new saves). Autostruts are dealt with, you have no reason to fear.

Indeed. However, Modules and sections of the code that are DLC specific will not function without the DLC installed. The same as Making History code.

[1.12.x] ResearchBodies V1.13.0 (15th May 2022)
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
You are running KSP 1.7.0. What does the Title of this thread and the OP say? You say it was occurring on 1.6? as well? Seeing a lot of these in the log. ResearchBodies-PCBMWrapper,Arrggg: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. When I get to update this to KSP 1.7.x will take a look. -

Very Nice find. Thanks for pointing that out.. I can't believe in all these years i've been doing this mod.. that was never noticed by anyone.. that I can recall. I'm working on a fix... which I think I've got 95% done. So I'll release that fix along with an update for 1.7 in the next week. Edit: there’s also a problem with this mod in 1.7 which means the UI window for the telescope and chemical are broken. So I’ll try to get the update out as soon as I can in the next few days.
