  1. That'd be your job. He can't just make custom textures for everyone, and if you can't texture just go to SpaceEngine and export a cloud texture.
  2. That's a pretty sweet idea. If I knew how to I would . Shouldn't this be in general add-on affairs though?
  3. This is actually awesome. If you wanted, I could get to making some custom, game-like images for money, cards and/or properties for the game. Just PM me if you want some and what you want.
  4. I got to see it in VMax once . The closest IMAX is about 1000km south of where I am. I was going to see it a second time in vmax, but Mockingjay took over.
  5. Today I made a 0.3125 scale RSS config. Now it is *roughly* the same size as the 3.2x Kerbol system by Gregroxmun. Skies and orbits still need a bit of work though, because the moons aren't in the right place XD . You can use perfectly stock rockets as long as you have FAR or Near installed. Orbital velocity in LEO is about 4.6km/s and takes about 5-5.5km/s dV to get to orbit.
  6. Nope, but it would if you did some tweaking with the .cfg files.
  7. Another essential mod? Curse you bac9! You're destroying my hard earned Ram!
  8. Yeah, this interests me. You could head over to Component SS to see if that's working. Problem is though, I think your saying that you want people to use specific rocket parts in a specific order when KSP can't give you a .craft file from a contract and the player probably won't want to use your craft but their own. Interesting concept and you have my attention, but I'm saying it might be a bit too ambitious for a beginner modder (I assume, please correct me if I'm wrong).
  9. Well, it doesn't support DOE but it doesn't conflict with it, either. No clue on a telescope mod, maybe try it out?
  10. Sweet! Thanks. Also, is there any particular way I should name a custom config? I have mine named ive_clouds.cfg right now, and they don't seem to show up in the cloud layers in game, although the clouds.cfg layers do.
  11. I'm not sure if this is normal, but changes that I made in both the GUI and the config don't show up initially when entering the game. I have to click on the 'apply' button in the gui for one cloud layer on one planet and then all of the changes across all of the planets take effect. Also another 'I don't know if this is normal', there are no clouds on Kerbin in the Main menu? I've updated to the newest version of this and none of these are fixed. Anyway! Hope this isn't just me, and I look forward to hearing from anyone!
  12. Although that might be the easier choice, it is much more prone to 'issues'.
  13. The download includes what you need from RSS, and it doesn't replace the planets or anything. Just changes the horizon colour.
  14. I've made some skyboxes! Partly to do with this, but I made some nonetheless. You need Texture replacer for them to work, and some of them don't look great. There are 6 in total to choose from and you can read a brief description of each in the link. Link.
