The best thing about jets is their power, not their economy. So for a small craft such as this, where power isn\'t whats needed, economy is very useful.

I bet there would have been no problem if you had used Paint.NET\'s Magic Wand tool. That would have selected ALL the space. Then you just copy the image, paste it in a new layer above the EVE Online image, then you Merge Layer Down.

For everyone\'s information. I designed this on Spore. I drew it out on paper from looking at the Vehicle Creator. I scanned it in. I used Paint.NET\'s Ink Sketch tool to get the first image. This removes most of the interferance that would make it hard to colour. I coloured it. I added Copyright stamps and the RA logo. I uploaded the images to Imgur. And it uses turboprops because turboprops are cool like that. Besides, the V-22 Osprey is the only similar STOL aircraft I can think of, and that uses rotors.

Images display the Australis ducked down. This is standard standby position - ready for boarding by the pilot. The Hawthorn Aerospace Technologies Australis-type is the corporation\'s first serious attempt at a VTOL aircraft with bipedal design landing gear, following the Hawthorn ZL-58. The ZL-58 was a single-person interceptor which proved to have little more than the capability to shuffle on its legs, not to mention that it was rear heavy meaning it had to employ its engines at low thrust just to prevent itself from tipping over when the vehicle was standing. The Australis model is fully balanced, is carried by industrial reverse-knee\'d leg landing gear, carries twin underside mounted cannons and a back mounted plasma blaster. Unlike the ZL-58, the thrust comes from twin turboprop rotors mounted on tilting nascelles. The cabin can hold three people with space for one to sleep. It also features multiple wings - though these only provide the majority of the lift whilst flying. Regrettably, the Australis cannot glide. Or rather, it has the same gliding ability as a fourteen tonne paper aeroplane.

Veto Aerospace 'Spinoff' spaceplane
RedDwarfIV replied to RedDwarfIV's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
It certainly has been a while. I\'m all up in there doing a webcomic. Oh, and I\'m about to post something epic on OT. -
Bigtrak Vs Space Marines. I\'d love to see that.

Probably the Internets. Its an Internet-perpetuated fandom, after all.

Someone who likes MLP.

No, I was pointing out the extreme absurdity that is the theoretical \'My Little Kerbals: Rocketry Is Magic\' Y U NO SATISFIED WITH BLOWING UP LITTLE GREEN MEN? Y U HAVE TO BLOW UP CHARACTERS FROM A SHOW YOU LIKE? [This sentance was aimed at Nooblet68, who I presume is a Brony. However, I have no conclusive evidence.]

Veto Aerospace 'Spinoff' spaceplane
RedDwarfIV replied to RedDwarfIV's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
VA is sad to announce that the Spinoff is completely unable to perform an atmospheric landing. To be fair, we haven\'t tried standard SAS yet. -
Hence why I rebuilt the boats as soon as WedgeParts were released. I even moved the Y class to the back of the Tamar and put a D class on the dock.

Veto Aerospace 'Spinoff' spaceplane
RedDwarfIV replied to RedDwarfIV's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Vessel fully intact on Munar surface HUD up - Primary fuel tank near full, four full tanks remain The Kerbalnauts were surprised to see that the SMA primary fuel tank had survived the jettison Kerbin orbital insertion Leaving Munar orbit - near enough four full tanks Setting up an excentric orbit - perigee in atmosphere In today\'s lesson, we learn how to dive bomb a planet... Plenty of fuel left in case of shenannegins - also, maneuvred for nose cone forward Just a spaceplane silhouetted against the sun Nothing special here - just interestingness All things considered, a resoundingly successful mission -
Veto\'s recent lack of new production has been a concern. So now we introduce the Spinoff, a simple spaceplane currently in testing which we assume can make it to the Mun. Perhaps even return. Unlike other VA spaceplanes, it is not intended to land on the Mun with RCS VTOL, but vertically with its engines. The ascent stage can carry the vessel to a height of 350 Km, making it one of Veto\'s most powerful ascent stages to date. The radial liquid ascent stage is jettisoned, and a large SRB fired to push the stack into orbit. This is then also jettisoned. The space manuevre assembley [sMA] consists of a large fuel tank and four half size metre tanks. In the image, one of the radial tanks was lost in launch. However, from a 350 Km orbit to Munar intercept, only half of these two remaining radial tanks were required. The thruster in this case is a NERVA engine. Finally, there is the spaceplane itself. The prototype has no landing gear as such, so it remains to be seen if it will survive the return to ground. It is equipped with three stock lander thrusters mounted on radial wings. Its Munar landing gear is composed of six lander legs.

Kerbin Conclave Orbital Station
RedDwarfIV replied to Barayas's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I\'m imagining TotalBiscuit [the Cynical Brit] saying \'That\'s ridiculous\' like in the video \'TotalBiscuit vs. Jesse Cox GS Podcast remix\'. Mindblown. -
Don\'t worry, the most important point this sketch is making is that they got hit by asteroids. A lot of the other sketches have proper jokes in them. I posted this here because I wanted feedback on the art, really. And yes, that\'s a furry. You see, in the future, people with have more advanced genetic engineering. And with genetic engineering, furry people will make genetically engineered furries because they can. And that\'s about why there are furries in this comic.

You\'re talking to an AMLPR member. There is no way in smeg would I make ponies the main characters of any webcomic I made, with the exception of that plot arc where they fire the Orbital Friendship Cannon at an AMLPR base in an alternate dimension, with the beam deflected by the base\'s parabolic dish, into space, through a freak wormhole, across more space, through an interdimensional gateway, through more space, through a quantum jumphole, before finally hitting the Docking Ring of the TSS.Terraform in just the right place to set the TDS.Revenger adrift, and thus surviving the HSD\'s hijack of the Terran Federation vessel. That was a long winded explanation for the fact that no, they aren\'t ponies. They are just bluish-green skinned aliens with large snouts. Ponies do not have tentacles. In your defense, my Dad thinks they look like Tweenies. So I guess its not uncommon. I guess this is the trouble with trying to make humanoid aliens as inhuman as possible without taking away recognisable features. People think they look like childrens\' show characters.

HarvesteR posted on my thread. Anyway, do any of your screens have \'LOW RADIATION\' printed on them?

You\'re right, OBC is not something to boast about. I\'ll show you boasting about Roblox. My account is RedDwarfIV. I used to run a group called Tactical Advanced Soldiers Kinship [TASK], which reached 160 members under my command. Sounds low, but really, it didn\'t take more than a minute to find it on the \'Groups\' page. Compared to many hundreds of other groups, that\'s a lot of users. I was voted \'Best Sci-Fi RPer\' on the Roblox Forums. I was Second In Command and Head Engineer of Pinewood Builders Incorporated, the largest building group on Roblox. I effectively ran it in the several months Diddleshot went AFK for. I have built numerous places for this, one of which was popular for a while. I built one of the most realistic space shuttle simulators in the game. I built a \'White Zone\' rocket - A rocket so fast it breaks out of the Skybox. To keep it as a game though, both launch stage and capsule have to be fired, the latter following separation. This is done from Ground Control. My game, Ocean Rescue, was the fastest game ever to go from beginning to first place on the Games Page. This is the original \'rescue survivors at sea\' game we are talking about, that I made. It inspired multiple other sea rescue games that also reached first page/place. Mine had the most realistic ships, designed off real life RNLI lifeboats. That\'s bragging. <<CAUTION: SPOILER IS SERIOUSLY IMAGE INTENSIVE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, DIAL UP/PHONE USERS>> You get the idea.

Assuming someone (could be Humans) doesn\'t become technologically advanced enough to adapt to those conditions, and improve upon it? The energy and the matter are still there - all you need is a way to once again concentrate it. If there was some form of anti-dark energy that could be developed, we could stop the Universe expanding with enough of the stuff. Reverse it if we wanted to. Alternatively, move to another dimension.

Thats sad. Though at the moment, I only have three screens, and two computers. The beige desktop under the draws is ancient, and so is really slow. I only put the DVD player and the netbook there because it added the the effect, not because I normally use them. And the large printer-scanner only works with the old desktop, so that\'s useless. The PDA that was on top of it is now next to my alarm clock. And the extra set of keyboard and mouse have also been cleared away since their corresponding computer was removed. And my Kindle is sitting on top of my DAB radio. The CRT monitor acts as an extension screen to the LCD display for the black desktop now.

I went for the \'spam screens everywhere\' option. More computer screens makes everything look just that bit more sinister. Plus, the HDMI cable converter has a disconcerting red light on it, like something hiding in the dark. Also, there is a lot of exposed wiring that makes it look busier than it actually is. Like having vines draped over the communications desk in Jurassic Park 2. When rating someone\'s room for evil-base-ishness, remember that it is still someone\'s bedroom, and that things that make it a bedroom aren\'t relavent. Take the curtains in my room, for instance. A real evil base would have metal hydraulic blast shutters. But that isn\'t the point, so ignore it, and rate it on what the person thinks makes their room look like an evil lair.

7/10 for professional engineering plan of a plush toy.
