What do you think KSC recovery team looks like?
MrWalrus123 replied to ARS's topic in KSP1 Discussion
You see, if its manned, the whole crew walks back to the KSC. When the 500t space station needs to be recovered, the KSP sells it on Kbay, where the buyer then deals with it themselves. This is also why you only get money for recovered parts. -
Survey Probe - no experience given?
MrWalrus123 replied to Silverwood's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I know there are mods that do stuff like this, "SCAN sat" allows you to create an viewable map of the planet, it also allows you to "analyze" the data, which gives you science for mapping the planet/moon. There is also probably a mod that gives you science for the stock resource scan. Good luck! (also if you have anymore questions, I recommend asking in the Gameplay Questions and Tutorial section in the forum) -
does this work with mods that completely change the solar system?

Was the Vostok (and fiji) removed? I haven't used this mod in a while, and it's nice to see it coming along.

Yeah, I never understood why testing the temperature in 'x' situation could help unlock technologies ranging from wheels to advanced nuclear engines. Perhaps it could be like instead of getting general science points, you get points in certain groups, (such as temperature, atmospheric, etc) and these readings could upgrade parts. For example, temperature science points could be used on certain points to help prevent overheating, until you get to the default max temp. For now, i would just recommend getting mods that add "advanced" parts, so that the tech tree is bigger, or getting life support mods (you can adjust the difficulties of those too i think).

201 2001: A Space Odyssey is considered to be one of the greatest science fiction movies of all time. Known for its practical effects which were really pushing the limits for its time (1968). Kerbal Space Program is considered to be one of the greatest space exploration games of its decade. Known for allowing players to create custom rockets, planes and whatever else they can come up with and explore the solar system. So why not combine the two? I present to you 201: a Kerbal Space Program Odyssey! (at least the trailer and some screenshots) (this just started out as me trying to parody one of the trailers, and became something slightly greater) The sneak peak below is based on the first portion of the "space waltz" scene Screenshots (these are from scenes that may or may not make it, or are just showcasing some of the crafts)

What mods do you use for the camera angles?

I was wondering if there are any camera mods for kerbal space program that currently work with ksp 1.2. (it appears that camera tools by BD doesn't work anymore)

If someone can help me with some of the province maps, or other things, that would be appreciated. -
are there any differences in the monoliths (size?), I know when I visited the two Minmus monoliths (they're only 4km away from each other), the newer one had a green hue to it.

Just comment any other details (like how many times, or if you've been on the surface, returned, e.c.t The general idea of this thread is to talk about our (mis)adventures to other worlds in KSP try not to derail

Kerbal History the sequel of the failed sequels (and revamps)
MrWalrus123 replied to MrWalrus123's topic in Forum Games!
Year 102: Kerbals begin to "explore" the outside world, mainly by throwing rocks out their caves and using primitive rockets (which where slightly improved versions of the one Kaza Kerman made) -
