(Turn-based) Kerbal Multiplayer Collaboration
Thunderous Echo replied to Thunderous Echo's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Sorry for trying to rule with an iron fist. If there is a major issue in which I have a considerable number of people against me, however, I will set up a vote. -

When 72 hours have passed since the last turn, we will start the next cycle. There have been 21 so far. We must give everyone a chance. -

Are you sure you want to keep this station all to yourself and not let anyone else add stuff to it? Also, you rarred the file instead of zipping it, but I corrected it. Great video. When my turn comes around, I'm going to try and bring down (or magically terminate from the Tracking Station) some of the debris that's been collecting. -

Sorry, misunderstood how Mach numbers worked. I'm assuming you turned gravity back on to get into the command seat. Is 48 hours not universal? -

Two questions, Xannari: 1) Did you or did you not hack gravity to do something that would have otherwise been impossible? 2) Did you just say that a vacuum has Mach numbers? 3) Did both parts of your turn total up to less than 48 hours? -

Craft Scavenger Use only others' crafts to complete the Jool-5! Overview: You must complete the Jool-5 challenge using only crafts created by other people to do things other than the Jool-5 challenge. Rules: You must complete the Jool-5 challenge as described here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/57197-The-Ultimate-Jool-5-Challenge-land-Kerbals-on-all-moons-and-return-in-one-big-mission You must not use any crafts that you have created or requested the creation of. All crafts used must be downloaded from external authors. No more than one craft file can be downloaded from each author. The only 'in-VAB' or 'in-SPH' modification of crafts allowed is to attach crafts to one another (changing root parts or converting to subassemblies is kosher). Anything used as a moon lander must not have been designed specifically to land on that moon. Any interplanetary or "intermoonar" transfer stage must not have been designed specifically to be a transfer stage. Omitted because of insane difficulty. The Kerbin launch stage must not have been designed specifically to lift a Jool-5 challenge vessel. Submission: Post your submission on this thread along with any images or videos you want, and for each craft file used, include a link to the page you got each from, the name of the author, what you used it for, and the original purpose. You may also want to submit your entry to http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/57197-The-Ultimate-Jool-5-Challenge-land-Kerbals-on-all-moons-and-return-in-one-big-mission Where can I find craft files? Welcome, bakanando! That's quite nice aesthetically, too bad anything that looks good has a ton of parts. Even so, if anything was added to that, it would probably ruin its looks. I'm sorry, what did you just call me? What? Oh dear. I hope that this was the same problem that everyone else was having (or related), because if it was, that means we don't have to worry about it anymore. Anyway, file looks good on my end! Perfect. Jeb should be happy now that he has another toy to play with for the next few years. Thanks! - - - Updated - - - Why is there a LAUNCH CLAMP FOUR KILOMETERS BELOW KSC??? -

The link to the shared folder gives editing permissions to anyone that opens it. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B99mIHx34OkjSXBvdlBMejRDWm8&usp=sharing If no one goes before Friday at 8pm, cycle 1 ends then. Depending on the circumstance, renaming kerbals involves replacing their names in 1-3 places. Make sure to continue your ctrl-F until you find them all. I can do this for you at my next turn if you wish. -

No one so far has needed more than 48 hours (as far as I know). The time limit for player reservation is supposed to be zero. I'll make that more clear. -

This was always part of my plan, but I never put it down on paper. So, official warning: If no one participates, new cycle starts this Friday at 8pm! (UTC-0) P.S. Do people want me to rename kerbals to cycle 1 participants? - - - Updated - - - What system would you propose? -

Ahem. You're assuming the only way to land on an atmospheric body is with parachutes. However, we have some perfectly good engines and will probably have plenty of fuel left when we get back to Kerbin. Also, Alchemist, looking forward to the vid! And Xannari, Jeb's looking forward to having company... Even if it is just another robot... -

Raincrafter's reign has ended. He has not downloaded the save file in the first place, and has nothing to upload for the use of the next person. If anyone has technical difficulties, please tell me. -

We already have Hades, it's our EAV. (I think of Eve's surface as the underworld for naming conventions.) -

Chronus does not seem to be a "useful" station. It won't be refueling anything, and polar orbits are pretty. -
