  1. Hi Ruddy! We've met already, but Starhawk will be here shortly. Nice plane, btw.
  2. Oh, OK then.
  3. @Ruddy3702, IDK about that. You might want to try FAR, though.
  4. Somehow, I knew you would find that. La Grange is a song. La'Grange's is an ethanol substitute on Kerbin-Mun L1. (See D, OB!) BTW, Frank Beard is the only one without one.
  5. @ZooNamedGames, can you change the tread title? We aren't looking for new members right now, unless I'm missing something.
  6. Only for officers above the rank of Junior-major. Everyone else gets La'grange's.
  7. I miss @GusTurbo. A prolific poster, he also gave me my first rep points on the forum. He started the OSTECA thread, and made a number of very cool, very obsolete ships.
  8. Hi @something, I think we have everyone we need now, but we'll keep you in mind if something opens up!
  9. Here's the way I see it: Capcom is a famous role in NASA. Most people know the role as that, and don't know Capsule Communicator or Spacecraft communicator are the proper names. If we use Capcom instead of CAPCOM, it eliminates the issue about the acronym, and we just make that the title. This isn't a NASA launch. We aren't using all the NASA titles, and we're not using n-body physics. A little Author's License in the naming system won't kill anybody.
  10. But everyone knows CAPCOM, no one knows Spacecraft Communicator...
  11. we have a bunch of guys assigned to different roles, let's let them do it. Otherwise we're just watching numbers on a screen, which is boring.
  12. I think that's a good idea. It will keep scheduling complexity down.
  13. Zoo, we should probably make position-specific checklists, and a timeline for each position's nominal readings.
  14. I would, but @adsii1970 requested that we leave it at the rank we were on the old forums.
  15. I second the motion, and move to end debate on the question.
  16. Hmm, Skynet sounds suspiciously familiar... yup, there it is! To add to what I said about Luna 15, both Apollo 11 and Luna 15 were orbiting the moon at the same time- literally racing each other to land and return from the moon with a surface sample.
  17. Just like any mods you might be running, too. Small craft in RSS/RO are large ones in stock game, and if you're using prebuilt launchers (like I sometimes do, from a sub-assembly) you might need to size things down, and get rid of the excess mass.
  18. I remember you. From your days as Kaboom, and when that switched to HoloYolo. Welcome back once again!
