I'd suggest asking @BahamutoD for a copy, if he still has it, and it still works. Also, it's Burn Together, not Bern together. The second one sounds like a campaign slogan.

Hi @Aidian, and welcome aboard! You might want to check out the Gameplay help subforum. Also, it only takes 878 m/s of ∆V to get to a free-return trajectory, like Apollo used. Use that information how you would like.

Hmmm, I was thinking- Couldn't an outward burn work, too? All you need to do is to increase or decrease the orbital period of your craft by ~50%, so it shouldn't matter which way you burn. P.S. INB4 @Starhawk! [Sign-off returned to Starhawk]

Nud nud nuuuuuuuuuuud! But seriously, folks, Kuzzter did an outstanding job on those pictures. That's some Parkaboy-level stuff right there. P.S INB4 @Starhawk! [Sign-off returned to Starhawk]

Today? Well, the day is still young, for me at least. Yesterday I did some more work on the Scorpius-Solaris 02 craft, adding cameras, launch towers, umbilicals, and some other stuff. Oh, and I rotated the entire thing 90 degrees, so our ascent computer would work. Later today I plan to continue tests on the spacecraft, install kOS on my RSS/RO game to run the launch sequence (all credit there goes to @EladDv), and write up a post-liftoff to orbital insertion timeline. Shameless plug- the Real Space Program is running a manned orbital mission on Saturday, March 26. Liftoff is at 17:00 UTC, but if you want to watch you should show up at about 16:30 to get the best seats (and see the pre-launch sequence!).

But they have no concept of violence! All Sarge would do then is get tipsy on hydrazine, and leave the wrench somewhere at a gas station.

IIRC, Kuzzter said something about the Jooldivers looking suspiciously like missiles a while back. Of course, we could always use Sarge's Weapons-Grade Vocabulary at them...

yup! And they circularize with RCS, too! It's circular, and Cygnus separated!
-
Look at that pitch up, tho! It's like watching a bad orbiter launch! Cool, it's going past apo and circularizing It's a lofting trajectory and a pretty well done one, too

They're at the 4-minute planned hold. http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/ Just transferred to internal power!

@Mad Rocket Scientist, you forgot @nosirrbro, @EladDv, and @ILikeIke. I am go for a 12pm launch on March 26, est. I will be online by 10:35ish to get my console set up. Guys, see the posts above to get an idea of when we're launching and when to be online, if you will be there. @ZooNamedGames, I'm assuming that you got my prelaunch schedule. I will make an after launch one with time marks, too, if you and @cliftonM want.

I finished up booster and payload integration for the Real Space Program. The payload? 2,700 kg of manned capsule. I ran into some problems along the way, but nothing that couldn't be fixed. MARCH 21, 2016 12:06 EST FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: As the final bolts are welded into place, the Independence 7 Ground Assembly Team lets out a wild cheer. Says one excited kerbal, "!Atidlam otnujnoc le odot ne Nk 5 ed sonem! Yay-yak-eippiy!" The team has worked hard to get to this point. The capsule was originally overweight, but after some double-checking with the Life Support, Electrical, retro-burn, and Booster specs, they were able to cut the capsule's integrated mass to less than 2,700 kg, from an initial mass of 3,700 kg. In the midst of the celebration, a technician remembers that they forgot to add the flight computer to the capsule! It's not a big worry, though, because like everything else here it's attached with duct tape. There were some problems along the way. When asked about the issues, Wernher Von Kerman said, "Well, they [the booster and capsule] didn’t line up right at first-like, the booster was ~10 meters off to the side- and when I tried to offset it back, it wound up in the ceiling. We were able to get it back to it's proper position, but there might still be some random torque caused by a slightly offset engine. Nothing major, though, and I'm sure that our BadS pilot will be able to handle it. If you'll excuse me, I need to take some of that hydrazine for my office while I write an S-covering memo." As of this time, everything on the hardware end looks GO for launch. -- Chuck Kerman Vehicle Assembly Building Kerbal Space Center Earth We are launching on March 26, 2016, at 12 PM EST.

Mine was landing on the moon in my .18 demo version. I had a horribly over designed rocket- LF/O engines on SRBs, enough stages to make @Whackjob blink (or at least notice it), a low framerate, and no maneuver nodes. I managed to crash the thing into the surface, but the capsule survived, and "Any landing you can walk away from...". I was so happy. Then I EVA'd Jeb, and he flew, crashed into the surface, and died in a puff of smoke. That was when I decided to purchase the full game.
-
Well, RSS is really Real Solar System, so yes, it changes the atmosphere. Another thing- most engines in Realism Overhaul only have one ignition and are non-throttle-able. Does this program play with throttle? I know that Mechjeb has problems with RO because of that. Also, can you change where you want the Apoapsis to be? Say, at 180km?
-
Maybe. I just felt like writing a press release. I've only given Wernher and that random guy my own words. And it's all what happened, just told in a different way. True story- I tried offsetting the booster back into the center, and it did end up in the ceiling. Was not fun to find- it hid itself in the rafters. Also, the updated craft is in the Skype chat. It needs that kOS part, but I think that EladDv had that covered.
