    Trust me, that's nothing. I can leave my computer for 4 hours and get more notifications than that. I know this for a fact, since I came back to my computer just now after leaving it for 4 hours and I had more than 10 notifications.

    That would be the SAS system. Basically, so long as you have electricity, the hugely powerful reaction wheels in the pod can change your orientation, even on land.

    Make it shorter and wider. If you flipped the orange tank 90o horizontally, and stuck the drills on the end, you would have room for a docking port in the middle. At least, that's what I'd do. The wonderful thing about KSP is the possibilities are endless! I mean, you solved it by jumping a rover, so you seem pretty clever!

    Ahh! That's not following OSHA guidelines! I'd suggest sending either a ramp to drive on, or lifting one of the drills. Don't forget to wear your hardhat!
