I am trying to balance contracts from the old Historic Mission Pack against GPP. To do that I need knowledge about the science multipliers of celestial bodies here. Where can I find that numbers? The cfg files only give detailed information for each situation. But which of them accounts for the rewards calculation, which sems to behave like that: reward = reward in contract file * prestige * celestial body value Prestige: Trivial 1.00 Significant 1.25 Exceptional 1.50- 7,371 replies

Krash really is a good plugin for simulations. Another question: What is a "day" for KCT? I lost some money, because of expiring contracts. And now I found, that the build times, KCT suggests, do not match to ingame time. My stats: - playing a 6.4 rescaled system with 24 h KSP-timer - latest dev build of KCT - rotation period of home world (Gael) = 15 h --> 24 h in KCT leads to 42 h game time Very, very odd...

How to find out your reputation

I always wondered, how big my reputation is. Is there a way to show that value beside the loading screen? That little scale in space center view isn't very helpful at all. Funds and science points are represented as numbers, but why not reputation? -
Hey everyone. I experimented a little with the latest dev version. Does anyone of you know, how I can start a simulation? Even on mode simOnly, I do not get any buttons or such. I already switched to fullscreen - just in case the buttons got placed off screen. With the other profiles I can add rockets to the build queue and launch them after a certain time.

Maybe someone can help me out with a code fragment for MM. I want to catch all parts from the MOLE-Mod and let them appear in the VAB correctly and not in the category "NON RO". Hello everyone, these days I am going to start a new heavily modded game with a lot of parts to build fancy stuff with. But this can be a pain, because most of the time you have to scroll through lists in which you only see 3 parts per line. Is it possible to have more than 3 of them shown in a line? Even 4 would make a significant difference. (I am already using Filter Extensions - that helps a little.)

I have a question about the lander cans. LanderCabinSmall and landerCabinMedium can transport one or two kerbals, differ in weight and volume for tanks. Is it intended, that they are of the same size? I think it would be more reasonable if the smaller one would be about 1/3 less in size.- 2,215 replies

Playing in 6.4x style: I am thinking about starting a new game and want to ask you, does anyone has experience playiing this in 6.4x? Sea level gravities of those planets near Gael seem to be pretty high. There is no Mars equivalent? But planets have massive gravitation and thick atmospheres. So sample returns might be impossible in most cases. What do you think? I guess playing this in RSS size would be to much an unrealistic challange ...- 7,371 replies

As I showed in my post one page before many items pop up several times in the techtree. Your part pebblebed is amoungst them. I suspect that many parts from KSPi and SXT where placed manually or the tree editor program does not scan for double (or more) parts. This seem to be a huge disadvantage of this wonderful techtree. I believe this: When parts are detected in several nodes, it behaves like a AND, thus both nodes must be researched before the part can be used by the player. You can try to open the tech tree in a text editor and look for pebblebed, that one in the wrong line/node should be commented out or deleted.- 1,028 replies

Is there an easy way to mak a category for SXT-Parts? Recently I was thinking about our 4 types of kerbals: Pilot, Engineer, Scientist and Tourist. I whish to have more of these. What's about a Physician with healing skills (combined with a sickbay part) or skills of a psychatrist on higher experience levels - maybe important on long voyages as a new way of improving crews (mental) health? What do you think? Can this be modded anyway?
