8/10 would listen again

Here ya go. The challenge of ship design, R&D and doing things properly is the best thing about this game. You say you love KSP but you want to change pretty much the entire core dynamic of it, the very thing that makes it stand apart from other games. There is no way around it. designing and creating a purpose built ship that suits your needs for whatever it is you plan on doing when you arrive takes time. Unless you want to borrow someone elses craft designs and take it from there, or hyperedit yourself into the orbit of whatever planet you'd like to look at. There's no rules, and nobody has a gun to your head. If you find it boring and too time consuming, do something else.

OLED = super lumens, tiny heat loss. You could definitely light up a planet from space with OLEDs [/amirite]

Banned for irresponsible use of logic.

Not a problem, They are pretty similar words. I did walk around listening to some angles around my house, but most of them are silent... Oh yeah.. amazing voices... here's one.

Might strap a couple to some satellites and do away with the pesky night.

Are they planning reconnectable ships?
KerBlam replied to Arugela's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I think you could probably just use a normal clampo for docking mk2 parts inline... If you're worried about aesthetics you could probably hide it in a cargo bay. I've never tried, but if I was going to, that's what I'd do. -
Linux Mint KDE 64... Been a Linux user since 2006. Only reason I bought KSP was because it was compatible, glad I did now.

Squadcast Summary (2015-01-31) - The 'Wait For It..' Edition
KerBlam replied to BudgetHedgehog 's topic in KSP1 Discussion
None of it really bothers me in the slightest. I will be keeping my 0.90 folder with FAR and everything working how I like it. Sure I'll check out 1.0 to see how it goes, but I think I'll probably continue to play 0.90. At least until the dust settles and there are equivalents of my most used and favourite mods available.. Most likely I will take 1.0 for a burn in pure stock, for the sake of science. -
Realistic Thoughts on additional bodies

I too would like to see a bit more life on Kerbin. Imagine the thrill of smashing a pod into a city accidentally and having to pay for reparations and collateral damage -
Bets are on that outer planet expansion will be among the first DLC packs

Squadcast Summary (2015-01-31) - The 'Wait For It..' Edition
KerBlam replied to BudgetHedgehog 's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Oh... that's good to know thanks RD. So the stock system will be kind of like the community resource overlay... I should have known this. I did know that the devs were consulting you about resources. Of course you're not going to kill your own mod! FAR will be another story I think, which will be a damn shame as it's such an awesome, full featured mod. Hopefully Ferram can work something out. -

FAR & Spaceplanes... Or any planes...

Keep CoM and CoL close together, and make sure CoT is directly in line with both, and be super gentle on your controls. Don't ever hold a key down... tappa tappa tappa. -
Squadcast Summary (2015-01-31) - The 'Wait For It..' Edition
KerBlam replied to BudgetHedgehog 's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I wonder if the resource system will kill Karbonite/Karborundum, and whether the new aero will kill FAR (as in, not be able to use those mods anymore) I can see myself sticking with 0.90 for quite some time TBH, unless I decide I can't live without female Kerbals, which is highly unlikely. -
Granted, you're better, but you're still terrible I wish humanity would be united by benevolent visitors from another galaxy, who just happen to be insanely good-looking.

Let's Burn Down the Earth's Forests!
KerBlam replied to fenderzilla's topic in Science & Spaceflight
For starters, you ever tried to burn wet wood? Most forests are able to withstand a bushfire and survive. Let alone rainforests, you might as well try to burn down the ocean. You'd need to cut them all down first and let the wood dry out. I don't know your friend, but the fact that he's thinking about stuff like this worries me. Trees are awesome. -

Do you feel KSP is ready for 1.0?
KerBlam replied to hoojiwana's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Seriously this thread goes around and around in circles. Many people (myself included) feel that it is rushed for KSP to go gold yet, and there should be at least one more beta version. However it has been made apparent that that's not what's going to happen. The devs seem confident that they can implement the changes and new features and go gold in one version without creating any new bugs. I think that's amazing. If they pull it off I will be super impressed. It doesn't actually change anything though. Most people here will continue to play and love KSP. Some new people will probably find it, love it and get on board. Some people will probably hate it and whinge and moan. There will probably be good reviews and bad reviews. If they call it 1.0 or KSP 0.91 or KSP 3.1 Millennium Falconpunch. It doesn't matter. Does it matter? The one thing that the devs have said that matters, is that KSP will continue to be updated and improved upon after release. That's what we should be concerned about, is making sure that, as much as we can, we encourage them to follow through with that. -

KSP - game or simulator?
KerBlam replied to ArgenTum's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
In a sense, it simulates what it would be like to be a race of little green men that live in a tiny solar system and have a mad compulsion for space travel. Ultimately it's fictional, it simulates fiction. It's a game. Saying it's a 'simulator' is like saying that Team Fortress 2 is a warfare simulator. Also, in a simulator, everything would be done in IVA... You can play KSP like that, but seriously, only with mods like RPM.
