What the? Dude, don't give up! It's not as difficult as you think.

Pictures? Also: You did a Lunar flyby? Noice. You'll need a lot of extra hardware to make a landing. I guess I can call myself an experienced craft builder at this point: I'm on the verge of my own Lunar program right now, and as it seems I see I have a bit more experience than you with building craft. No worries, I'll help you out.

That's disgusting! Aaah! No, what the hell! Million dollars, but the dollar drops in value until you might as well have ten.
-
1. You can add more pictures on a single imgur album. This is easier to maintain. FYI. 2. A Mk1 on a half-sized fuel tank is not a good combination in RSS. I'd go about it like the Americans and Russians did: make a lander, and a service module to dock to. 3. Do you have realism overhaul? If not, get it- your life would be much better.

Hell yeah, why should I care about names? One million dollars, but the moment you take them 3d printers come out and spam advertisers start using fax.

Shirley Shirley bo-birley banana-fana fo-firley!

You know what? Listen to Vanamonde. this is getting weird.

By the way, this thread needs some background music: "Goodbye, everybody. I got to go.... Gotta LEAVE YOU ALL BEHIIND AND FAAAAAACE THE TRUTH! MAMAAAAAAA, OHHHOHOHOOOOOO I DON'T WANNA DIIIIE, sometimes wish I'd never BE BORN AT ALLL" *EPIC SOLO*

Matuchkin's Realism Overhaul Craft Repository
Matuchkin replied to Matuchkin's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Yeah, I know. I just realized I can give paintjobs to shrouds. I know the bottom ones look ugly as hell. Give me a minute and I'll fix it. EDIT: I fixed that on the Alpheratz, but couldn't get around to posting another imgur album on the Alkaid-Alioth launcher. At least it look better than the Alpheratz did with that Nova texture. -
I've been playing around with realism overhaul for a very long time. Recently, I started a new save, and began developing lifters. Here, I will be displaying my vehicles, and occasionally posting stats in order to get constructive reviews. The following vehicles are made so that stages can be grabbed and switched between rockets. 1. The Markab 2nd stage, Alpheratz 1st stage, and Sheat orbital manoeuver block 2. The Alkaid 2nd stage, Alioth 1st stage, and AJ60A Booster Assembly For now, I have time to post these. Do not fret, for there will soon be stats on DV, highest mass to orbit, and the like, as well as some pictures of the launchers in action. This thread will also be home to my Crew Transfer Vehicles, various missions, etc. For the time being, you can just look (or somethin').

Quasars or quasi-stellar radio sources are the most energetic and distant members of a class of objects called active galactic nuclei (AGN). Quasars are extremely luminous and were first identified as being high redshift sources of electromagnetic energy, including radio waves and visible light, that appeared to be similar to stars, rather than extended sources similar to galaxies.

Please, oh please make this compatible with realism overhaul. These parts are amazing, and I am determined to make them see some real-life action.

How I wish I could fly the space shuttle.

That's a very fat chance. You have to spend some time fidgeting around with launchers, to get the most efficient design, then perhaps start looking into orbital maneuvers and docking, and then start making your way out with probes. I would know, I'm an experienced RSS/RO player. This is all very interesting, and I want you to keep this up, but don't expect to get to Luna by October 1st. I'll give tons of recommendations if you want me to. I like new people actually trying to do something. Here's a like. So, where are the pictures? Stats?

Just to see if @TheXRuler's concerns are correct: this mod isn't dead, right? Also, more importantly: Is it possible to make the tanks a bit more detailed? Say, the cylindrical shielded tanks can actually be pill-shaped tanks with stringer/wall sections to have a cylindrical profile, like the rear-end of this Atlas V tank. Also, perhaps you can make it possible to remove the tank wall and expose the strut-supported pill-shaped internal tanks. Just an idea.

If @NathanKell leaves, I'm just done.
-
@Veeltch, if you remove the juno engine restriction and set a minimum mass that is similar to that of a modern fighter, this would be really interesting. Other than that, people will just create huge light kites with immense braking ability, in the same way as @Van Disaster.

Asteroid gravity
Matuchkin replied to Buzz light fear's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Look, gravity or not, that is only a feature of a display on the map. In reality, there is no real boundary between spheres of influence. I actually count Earth's quasi satellites as extra moons, whose orbital periods are longer than a year. If you intercept the asteroid and burn retrograde at the closest encounter, you can consider yourself in an orbit. -
Do it!

Venus vs Titan: which is more likely to support life?
Matuchkin replied to todofwar's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Here's a nice source. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1664683/ There are some nice planetary and lunar analogies in this article, and good explanations of conditions at the time that life began on Earth. -
Dude, huge mistake: the gear pods have to be visible and clearly poke out of the front of each wing. also, move the gear to the side, not the GAU-8.
