This was BD Armory using the send GPS coordinates function. Mark the target with the drone then shoot it with the boat. There were no camera tricks other than cropping the targeting window with some editing software. Everything else was in game. -
[0.25] Astronomer's Visual Pack - Interstellar V2
V8jester replied to Astronomer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Actually that asset file is now out of date. You'd need to do some modifying with the asset manager. I have instructions / links on my forum thread which is linked in my signature. (I'm on my phone ATM, but look at any one of my posts from a computer and the link will be there) -
[1.1.3] BDArmory FPS - A BDArmory Expansion - 0.4 (9-10-16)
V8jester replied to V8jester's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
The extras folder is just the files you need to use guard mode (which is still really buggy) That's why it was split off on it's own like that. Glad you got it working though. -

[0.25] Astronomer's Visual Pack - Interstellar V2
V8jester replied to Astronomer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm using the latest release of Scatterer with the very first release of EVE reboot with a modified version of AVP witch "mostly works" The city lights are all jacked up and the particles aren't working properly but with Scatterer.... but who cares I am a little out of my depth though to really get AVP totally compatible with the current reboot EVE. Been poking about for help but no one has seemed interested so far. @Nhawks17 did however offer a few pointers so I must be fair he has been helpful. -
[1.1] VesselMover v1.5 (+Vessel spawning, toolbar ui) - Apr 25
V8jester replied to BahamutoD's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
What @Svm420 means is, it does not use Blizzy's tool bar. If it is not showing up, the install may be botched. You didn't place the folder "GameData" into your "GameData" folder correct? -
[0.25] Astronomer's Visual Pack - Interstellar V2
V8jester replied to Astronomer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hey I have a couple lens flares ripped from AVP setup for scatterer. I don't have edge of oblivion. If you send me a link I can fix that flare for you. Oblivion is nolonger available online correct? - or am I dummy? -
[1.1]Hullcam VDS - mod adopted by linuxgamer
V8jester replied to Albert VDS's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
As @Stone Blue said some people are experiencing instability with x64. I have played extensively with 32 and 64bit modded installs. In my case, 64bit has the exact same instability (memory leak) that 32bit has. And each will crash when you bounce in and out of the VAB / SPH with high part count ships. Just a limitation of KSP as they are still working out the kinks. There are high hope 1.1 will bring with it a much more stable 32 and 64 bit version. But hey I don't mean to start a x64 war (there is too much of that going on already) plain and simple. Just play with your install and see what works best for you. The only person that has to like it is you after all -
[1.1]Hullcam VDS - mod adopted by linuxgamer
V8jester replied to Albert VDS's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I personally recommend stay away from CKAN it's a lazy way to install mods and it often goofs them up. I recommend just manually installing mods. And any time you see mods with the exact same plugins, just delete the older one. Helps keep the mod folder clean. MM will usually weed out the older plugins and just use the newest ones. But like I said keeps things clean. x64 Work Around 64bit Unfixer - for removing the 64bit block by some mods like FAR (Devs will absolutely not support any issues you may have so use at your own risk) -
Sure I'll see if maybe I can make a temporary video and just dump it after you see it.

[1.1]Hullcam VDS - mod adopted by linuxgamer
V8jester replied to Albert VDS's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
You'll need MM for sure go grab that and see if your problems go away. By using the x64 workaround you will raise your memory limit from 3.5 GB to whatever you have installed. So like I said, I'm running over 100 mods and it runs like a champ. But not everyone has had great luck with x64 (personally I think it's more to do with people not setting it up right) -

So suite replacement mod would also meant texture replacer I would assume. I also Assume you do have Module Manager installed.... Honestly the only mod you have I don't (on top of my 98 others ) is engine light. I run the x64 hack with no ill effects (user result drastically very) Have you tried a fresh re install of everything? New game, new save (keep your ships folder though). Something my be botched in your install. And while a full reinstall seem drastic. When you start modding as heavily as I have, you learn it can be easier to just wipe everything and start fresh. Are you on steam or the regular zip file install? -
@Laythe2 I was curious. I doubt anyone has tried this but I did.... I scaled down a couple of hull parts and built the overall shape of the Zumwalt turret shrouds. I then attempted to use IR to move some of those scaled hull pieces. As soon as I touched the button to move the turret. Everything blew apart. The other thing I tried was to simply clip a Malfunc weapons turret inside the shrouds I built from LBP. While the turrets would aim / fire. The animation remained stationary inside the hulls. I would assume the hulls are setup like a strut? Or did you do something else in Unity that could cause this kind of behavior? I wouldn't really call this a bug report as I seriously doubt you every intended the boat parts to be attached to IR parts.

That's even stranger? Those are the missiles I was talking about. The VLS tube will be oriented correctly but the missiles inside will be upside down on the mirrored VLS.

How many / what other mods are you currently running? Windows, Linux, OSX? -
[1.1] BDArmory v0.11.0.1 (+compatibility, fixes) - Apr 23
V8jester replied to BahamutoD's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Oh! Cool -
The quad VLS will invert the duplicate when mirroring. You need to place one mirrored to get a templet then place left and right independently. And then remove the mirrors ones. Oh that, that's the fancy anti shoot me down avoidance system..... Ya ya, mm hmm

I think it is just an animated part no? I added an awacs radar to a kerbal using Eva manager for BD FPS through a MM patch. -

[1.2.2] B9 Aerospace | Release 6.2.1 (Old Thread)
V8jester replied to bac9's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Oh no worries at all man. I have tweaked it for now to re include the pylons. But I haven't messed with the default scale or power out put yet. I=That was going to be my next step. But I thought I'd throw that out there just the same. And take your time . I wasn't expecting you to bend to my demands- 4,460 replies

Are you using the proper guidance for a given missile? Or simply just use "Legacy targeting" if that works better for you. -
