  1. Great to see you up and about again Spanner! We all missed ya!
  2. Here's a whole write up I did on refueling the easy way if you're interested. Air to Air Refuel Like a Boss
  3. He's not actively developing, but he is still around. Gallidas is now in charge. Lo-fi has stopped developing KF but he is not totally gone yet. He's actually been really helpful with Zodious's Rework pack. And I would expect still reply to messages to help out fellow devs. Him Aqua or Gallidas would all be great resources to get your wheels in game. Weather you end up using KF or the stock system they should be able to help point you in the proper direction for Unity setup.
  4. Have you reached out to lo-fi? He built a working trailer hitch at one time. As well as may be able to help you get the wheels working in game. Really great work so far. I'm looking forward to seeing how far you take this.
  5. If you want views I would highly recommend uploading to YouTube and linking it here. Most of us aren't going to download some ones video to watch it (myself included)
  6. I would venture a guess the front landing gear being at angles. Also just glancing at the pictures it looks like you mounted them without angle snap turned on. Now since they are mirrored you should be fine. But when mounted to the fuselage I like to snap them to angles. On wings however I usually leave angle snap off. First try swapping the dual front nose gear to a single and see if that helps. If you're still having design issues, try me over here: Advanced Aircraft Design Good advice as well
  7. It could have something to do with how Scatterer disables the stock water in order to replace it with the super spiffy water. I can confirm. If you shoot anything at the water, it just dis-a-pee-pee's
  8. I have it somewhere. If I can track it down tonight when I'm at home, I'll post it here for ya.
  9. The traditional Whiley Coyote stuff. Jettisons so hard all the surface mounted parts like rcs and solar panels are left where the Orion jettisoned from. And the Orion pod breaks off of the service module. Basically the colider for the Orion adaptor is not hallow. So the engine on ther service module is "inside" the Orion adaptor on the top of ICPS stage. So when jettisoned it blower everything appart.
  10. Have you notice strange aero issues with the Hellfire? If it's fired at a long distance or simply blind fired at nothing. It will run on it's rocket motor perfectly. But once the rocket motor burns out. It will decelerate very quickly and seem to hang in the air at almost 0m/s. I've actually flown past a hellfire as it sat in the air while I was at a 0 degree inclination. As long as it's fired at a reasonable distance to a target it hits just fine. But it's also running on it's rocket motor almost all the way to the target. edit The new bullet shader looks great by the way! Much more realistic.
  11. I ignore the "Low TWR" Warning. as long as it's working then it really doesn't matter. That rotor I sent you also has a crazy amount of SAS force applied to it. so if you need more or less SAS assistance. just tweak the steering factor in the GUI menu. I did watch your video. Looks like you have a lot of potential for YouTubing, nice job. A couple suggestions though. Try never to use the keyboard to move the camera angles around, KerbCam is outdated but still works great. It looked like you used CameraTools quite a bit, so good job there. Make sure you are always hiding the mouse curser on the right side of the screen. And make sure you aren't filming while in windowed mode.
  12. Hey Yanfret, the Orion adaptor is still showing signs of collider issues even after that 1.0.5 A patch. Is this stil an item on your bug list?
  13. Hm, that's strange. That's exactly what I did.... I wonder why it isn't working for you.
  14. Yup that sounds about right for an Osprey. The FS rotor has a bug where the max rpm is not persistant. You need to tweak it in flight every time. You can try bugging Roverdude and Snjo on th FS thread about that one. The hover button on the rotors really doesn't work very well. Try Vertical Velocity Control And lastly to keep the Osprey from bouncing during a hover. Use Quantum Struts from the fuselage to the engine nacels. You can then lock the nacels in VTOL or forward flight.
  15. Hey here is that updated download for the High Power FS Rotor Download
  16. Wow! I'm truly impressed! Those look adsolutly fantastic!
  17. I think I have made a couple changes to that rotor since I last uploaded it. Sure when I get back home I'll update the download. Here is the most recent thing I built with that very rotor
  18. Ok I finally got around to building my favorite helicopter that I've been wanting to build since I started playing KSP.
  19. I don't know of a manual but try and ask Avera9ejoe or Rbray89 I bet either of them would be happy to help you out. Also use the EVE thread there are lots of guys that know a ton more about EVE than I do. Not trying to pawn you off, just want to help you get the right answers.
  20. Strange... I have -dx9 and -popupwindow on my install and they work fine. Do you have GC Monitor installed? I'm curious just how much ram you're soaking up. With DX9 enabled on my install I can chew through 11-13GB of Ram. So DX9 my be your problem. edit Duh it's in your screenshots from earlier You are using close to 7GB on an 8GB system. It's just cutting it too close. I'm within 3 GB wich leaves a little more of a margin for the system to use. If you chew up all your ram in the game there is just not enough to run everything else. Might want to think about an upgrade or consider trimming down your mods / textures. AVP is also kind of a memory Hog to begin with unfortunately.
  21. Hey for all the rotor heads out there. I found a new way to build a "Fan Tail" or "Fenestron" I used a Tweakscaled KW Rocketry 5m fairing base for the fan shroud, and Procedural Parts for the fan hub - Also used a ton of B9 P-wings for the Comanche itself. Just be sure you don't "Jettison" the tail rotor
  22. There are two different P-wing "wings" in this pack. The "all moving control surface" and "wing" Nothing can attach to the control surface. Only the wing can have things attached to it.
  23. I think there is something else going on. Works great for me on x64. I was working on this just last night.
  24. Honestly, most of the heavy modders really don't use CKAN. You just can't say without a doubt you're actually getting the newest file as a lot of the CKAN definitions are often made by outside parties like in the case of IR.
