The one thing I dislike about stock aero is that I can slow down my plane from 800m/s to 200 just by sharply pitching up. there should definitely be a aerodynamic failure option in the settings menu. Aside from that, stock aero seems balanced, and not too difficult or forgiving.

How do you guys feel about SQUAD's recent decisions (How they announced ps4 release, post 1.0 updates, etc) and the community's backlash? Please, be honest.
-
But now you have to tell us what you did! No, you actually don't. But you should. For science.

{DEV HOLD} STELLA CTV- cst-100 replica
SmallFatFetus replied to Tristonwilson12's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
If you unwrap it well, I would be happy to texture them for you. Just make sure the UV map is nice and organized, send me a labeled version, and I'll see what I can do. -
Will other bodies ever get the proceduaral craters treatment?
SmallFatFetus replied to r4pt0r's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I think all the planets are in need of an art pass, and updated atmosphere color and possibly scattering? Imagine seeing this on duna! And this was a scatterer config for Eve that blackrack set up for me. Woah. On topic, I think we could use procedural craters on Tylo, Pol, Minmus, Moho, and Dres. -
Even Novasilisko, the person behind the Rockomax tanks agrees they need updating. From reddit: a patchy bizarre look to it, with exposed metal and paint in unison. It fits the Kerbal mindset, I think, to be absent-minded about painting it consistently. For some reason it's not quoting right and insists on 2 quote bubbles. Oh well.

What will KSP's future be? (Warning: Flames Ahead)
SmallFatFetus replied to RAINCRAFTER's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I can't be the only one who doesn't really want multiplayer. I want to see SQUAD working on different things that suit the game better like Unity 5, Gas Planet 2, Squashing bugs, etc. -
Do any of you get paid? Or is this just a part-time thing you do as a courtesy to SQUAD?

Alright everyone, I have fixed up some of Porkjet's old argon tanks! These may end up in the release or I might replace them with my own models eventually. See the OP for more info. Also, I got the VASIMR in the game! it currently has some wonky stats, but it is fueled by electric charge and argon. Stay Tuned!

Stockalike VASIMR and argon tanks Download Known Bugs - Kerbal Engineer doesn't recognize power change - Atmosphere curve doesn't work - No FX ATTENTION- This release is most likely buggy and unbalanced. I would recommend that you do not use this in a career save. Parts Vasimr The VASIMR rocket uses radio waves to ionize argon, and accelerates the superheated gas out of the nozzle using magnetic fields. It can be used at a high efficiency, low thrust mode, or a lower efficiency, higher thrust mode. However, it requires huge amounts of electricity to function. Liquid argon has a boiling point of -185ËšC, compared to oxygen at -183ËšC and hydrogen at -252ËšC. It's density is 1.39g/cm^3, close to liquid oxygen's 1.141g/cm^3. Fuel tanks I made some custom tanks, but the parts made by Porkjet that I was using for inspiration were unused and far superior to anything I could make in the near future. They had no license, so I was free to use them. I have sent Porkjet a PM asking for permission to put my VASIMR and these tanks in a download together, and have not gotten a response yet. We're good to go! This tank would inflate using argon from full tanks on your ship. it would allow you to save space and pack your ship into a smaller fairing for launch Nuclear Reactor+Radiators Will happen eventually. How this is different from NFT Really, it isn't. I made this to try my hand at modding ksp. If people like it, I will try to make it more unique and different. Credits The argon tanks were made by Porkjet, not me. The NearFuturePropulsion plugin was made by Nertea. Go give 'em some rep! Please, suggest anything that you want below. I love hearing your ideas! ~SmallFatFetus

It's here, and it looks all kinds of badass. Discuss below!

-1/10 Very rude. I feel violated.

4/10. Apparently there's a challenge to circumnavigate Moho, and apparently this guy did it. Hooray. Also, what appears to be Samus from Metroid. Forgive me if I got that wrong, I'm not seasoned in classic video games.
