If someone says "Yo NASA, if you point New Horizons at _____ on pluto and snap a pic for me i'll pay you some good $$$," that's not cheating is it? If the contract just pops up that's fine, but if you're cycling through looking for them, then you're exploiting the game.

I was doing pad abort tests earlier and I noticed that the stock LAS is pretty... wimpy. This is where my request comes in. Would someone be willing to make a... 1.25m LAS -Orion-like -powerful, large .625m LAS -Red, mercury like -enough to get the job done All help is appreciated. If no one wants to do it, I can do it myself. I'm just a bit of a novice with blender and photoshop and such. Thank you! SmallFatFetus

Mod that raises delta-v to orbit to .90 levels
SmallFatFetus replied to LABHOUSE's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Size of parts, or size of the planet? -
So I like the fairings from KW rocketry, but they don't look good unless you build a rocket out of all KW parts. Would someone be willing to retexture the 1, 2, and 3 meter fairings with a nice, stockalike look? Thank you! SmallFatFetus

I sure hope not. Minecraft, while a huge success, fizzled out after a while, with meaningless updates every now and again adding carpets or horses. There was no hype train for new updates (after 1.2 or so) aside from mild interest. The community grew apart, and wasn't exactly respectful of each other. Servers started looking more like moneymaking ventures than fun places to play with your friends. I don't think mojang anticipated just how big the game would get, so they weren't ready for the rapid growth of players. KSP's community is respectful, mature, and hopefully will stay that way. [1.0.X]Engineering Based Tech Tree (with flight first option)
SmallFatFetus replied to Probus's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
This is more of a mutilated bush than a tree... Seriously though, very cool. I've always thought Squad's tree was a little too... linear. Downloading this now! SmallFatFetus -

SmallFatFetus replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Hey Nertea, would you consider developing a stockalike, stand-alone (not affiliated with NFT) radiator mod, maybe with some other stuff? PM me if you're interested! SmallFatFetus -

SmallFatFetus replied to Dragonchampion's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
How do I embed a video? Animation is done! what do you think? .blend file will be uploaded soon. Here it is SmallFatFetus EDIT: Just saw your post. I always thought interstellar's radiators were way to sci-fi looking. Would you consider trying to make a realistic radiator mod with me/anyone who will help? -
Discovery / doing actual science
SmallFatFetus replied to Twreed87's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
There was a thread about this a few months ago, and I made some mock ups of what it would look like. I'm on mobile so no fancy formatting but here is the link- http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/112533-Mod-that-makes-planets-and-moons-%28except-for-close-side-of-moon%29-whited-out-until-you-explore-it SmallFatFetus -
Help to make a mod: Radiators
SmallFatFetus replied to Dragonchampion's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
@Mecripp I'm learning, so don't expect porkjet but yes, I can texture to a degree. @juanml82 On earth a radiator works by transferring heat to it's environment, (air, water, etc) In space, because there is no air, heat is radiated away via infrared. This is not nearly as efficient as heat transfer, but we've come up with some pretty clever ways to do it. SmallFatFetus -

They the one from Chaka Monkey Exploration. That's a beautiful Orion replica, and it's 3.75m. SmallFatFetus
