Aircraft Carrier - KSS Dominion - Stock + BD Armory
Rath replied to Redshift OTF's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
BIGGER! What. -
Meh. I do all of these things on my own. I think that this would limit what I can do too much. How do I tell my kerbal this is an emergency, so just hold on for another week
-
Yes please. I want extra levels in stock too. Use all of the barn buildings for t1 except for the dirt runway.

New way to get kerbalnauts
Rath replied to kris-kb's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I don't want an in-game explanation. or an official one. One of my favorite things about KSP is that I can make up my own stories. -
Spitfire PR MK VI and supermarine Walrus.

The intakes on the engine make it look like a griffon variant. @RixKillians had the same problem, but with the cause being a square ram intake. -

I've been doing similar stuff to that for a while now. -
New way to get kerbalnauts
Rath replied to kris-kb's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
You simply remember reading either somebodies roleplay justification, or the fact that certain parts of the dev team personally like to belive this. For me it is that they have cities. However, because of the clumsiness of kerbals due to the massive head , the undersized body, meaning that lots of stairs are a no-go normally, the cities are very short and therefore spread out. I just pretend that I can see them. I put a bunch of shapes on a map of kerbin to show where spent stages can't go. -
Supermarine Spitfire Mk VI [STOCK] [1:1 Replica]
Rath replied to RixKillian's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Is this a Griffon variant? Because the square ram intake makes it look like one. -

Guys, I tried to make an underwater rover to see if kerbin has a continental shelf, but It cannot move faster than 1m/s on slopes, even with a rocket.

New way to get kerbalnauts

I don't like this idea. I am no realism n*azi but I like having realistic kerbal mechanics. I should have to pay reimbursement to a kerbals family when I kill him. I should not hire kerbals by having to reach him. Ps, if squad added the ability for mods to let me decide whether or not to give my kerbals health care, keep them happy with raises to keep them from quiting. I would play the s**t out of that mod. Because In my job I don't get to do that. I love to build airplanes. I would rather have to deliver x to y airstrip contracts -
I thought that was mt Kraken. K2 is the tallest mountian on kerbin

You just got a lot more damns... Perhaps, but I dont think they are big enough to have been created by large enough collisions to eject large amounts of mass into orbit. Even together. If they where canals, perhaps the water source was cut off? So they drained
-
I dont think that crater is big enough to make that possible. If it was, the mun would have to be really young cause its not very eroded.
-
Cool, here i'll give you a damn
-
Could this be the third major crater? If it is it is defenately the oldest. http://imgur.com/RhtSXVq ZooNamedGames, this is mostly just speculation on how it would work, not how.
-
The problem is that it is not connected to the ocean. It probably flows underground at some point.
-
aww, I was imagining some great kerbal-egypt civilization flourishing along the banks...

KSC changes and improvements
Rath replied to marcello639's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I like the dirt runway. I belive that it should be the only building kept at teir 0 when the barn comes back. *Falls on knees and prays* -
Prepare to bear the tide of people comparing KSP to twitter because of character limit.

They do not appear to have ridges, but the sea is less shallow
-
Well they might not have ridges, but it will give us more confirmation of the moment of a volcanic hot spot to build up the islands.
-
The Booster Bay islands appear to be volcanic, like hawaii, because they have grown up in a line of dots. If they truly are volcanic, then they should have ridges connecting them. I will check with a sub soon
