  1. I'm having troubles implementing the new Crons map into KSP, so in the midtime, have this nice render of a wip colormap of it.
  2. I ended up redoing Crons. Here's the current Heightmap seen from different views, I'll have to add ice cracks and clean up some of the mess. I'll do the color map later. View 1: Close to prograde, cratered surface, reminisent of the cratered poles of the original Crons. View 2: Starboard view, Transition from cratered to young terrain. View 3: Close to Retrograde: Young terrain with cryovolcanism.
  3. Small Update (Biome maps, All bodies to scale) All biome maps are finished with the exception of Crons, so either expect the next alpha soon, or a beta when I finish Crons.
  4. Making the biome maps of the finished-mapped planets. Take this little comparison graph for the moment (This These are the actual biome maps, except the clouds, and Kerbin...)
  5. Got Distant Object Enhancments to work. (The contrast is high to show the flares better)
  6. Some updates... I've been working on having compatibility with Distant Object Enhancments. You maybe know or don't know, but DOE modifies the flares brightnesess depending on their distance to the Celestial Body 0, a.k.a. the Sun. I've contacted MOARdV about this and he has told me it could be a lot of effort not worth using... so this compatibility is hanging on the air. The RCS pack for the sail works perfectly, and expect it to be ready for testing/release in the next update. And talking about the sail, it appears to have problems when the Part G Limit option is enabled on the difficulty settings (Who would have thought, right?), I'm looking into this. Crons is probably going to get its map redone. I want to keep the poles craters, but I would like to have a "scaled" terrain near the equator, with cracks going all around the moon. Who knows what will happen. I've also doing some biomes shenanigans. Vassa, Pequar, Disole and Prima all have finished biome maps and all except Disole have biome names. (For example, Prima's cryovolcano is called Mount Praeteritus). I'm open for requests on the names for Disole's Valleys. And that's pretty much it for now.
  7. Alpha 0.3 Includes: SPRITE sail and Nienna! A small tutorial on how to use the sail by the way (Don't belive those speeds, the actual ones are about 200km/s): Sail is in Utiliy Probe core is in Command Experiments Addons are in Science Battery and RTG are in Electricity
  8. A little update on how things are going: I've finished the basic parts for the SPRITE sail, this includes the Sail (Surprising, right?), the Probe Core, a Thermometer, Micro-Mystery Goo, GRAVMAX experiments along side an Extra Battery and a RTG (Which needs a new model) Redoing Nienna's Map, so it's not just a featureless pruple ball floating in space. Trying to get Cercani to be visible from the Kerbol System without using the stock sunflare. Studying Maths ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Next update will have the sail and Nienna in it. Close up of some of the experiments: Mystery Goo GRAVMAX New Nienna That's really weird. I'm using MM 3.0.4 and I'm experiecing no problems (Appart from a error the SunIntensity config that doesn't do anything). What mods do you have installed? It would be nice to know, also your MM version.
  9. Send me Logs/Kopernicus/C2-1.log, Logs/Kopernicus/C3-1.log and KSP_x64_Data/output_log.txt
  10. Finished the probe core. It has some electricity, a deployable antenna and a reaction wheel. Science experiments and addons (Batteries, RTGs, Better Antennas...) will be placed on the dark squares. TODO List: Science addons, extra battery, rtg addon models and textures Balance masses of the parts Make the sail actually drain funds Little RCS Ports for Fine percision while travelling to exoplanets (?) I'll probably put it in CKAN, but when it gets finished.
  11. I can't say anything more than how beautiful the new parts are. Congraulations on the release!
  12. New animation for the sail. I'm going to need the opinion of you regarding how this part will be used, this is my idea so far: Sail is obtained early into career compared to a Futuristic Warp Drive Sail can support 100N of force when fairly close to Kerbin (About 100km to the surface?), and because of the low mass of the parts (I'm working rn just on the sail, I have to do prob core, experimients and antenna) It will obtain a high acceleration. I don't know if the part should have ablator, so there's a limit on how much time you can use this. The thing is the force will decrease by the square of the distance to Kerbin. Little cold-gas/monopropellant propulsion to pin-point exoplanets flybies This is totally free in sandbox (Heh, you are god there), but in career I think for balancing propuses you would have to buy "Laser time" to be able to use this. And if not, the second option is just making the sail expensive. (Both cases about ~150,000 \F) Anyway, I need feedback into this so I know if it's balanced and things like that.
  13. This Other_Worlds doesn't have compatibility with the newest SigmaBinary. If you want to use the pack at the same time with it, delete every .cfg related to SigmaBinary over OtherWorlds/CercaniSystem/-CONFIGS-/
  14. Working on some parts to get to Cercani earlier (and fast) in a career mode. These are placeholder models and textures btw, I have to learn how to properly do Parts.
  15. Alpha 0.2 Version for KSP 1.3.1 This includes Pequar, Disole, C3-1, 1.3.1 compatibility and some asteroids. Please report any bug and/or oversight.
  16. You both will have to send me KSP.log and Logs/Kopernicus/Kopernicus.log to check what is wrong. Keep in mind the GN compatibility was made for the old Other Worlds and not the new one.
  17. Changed the progress list on the main post Now with a comparison of the current progress with the original Other Worlds
  18. Finished the clouds of Disole: These include: Polar Clouds, scatterer around the northen Hemisphere Giant cirrus clouds on the south Hemisphere. Dust clouds over the equator. These ones rotate slower than the rest. Only thing left for next release are some clouds and dust storms for Pequar.
  19. Working on having everything ready on 1.3.1 Already fixed some problems with the light from the Stock Sun and the one from Cercani hitting planets at the same time. C3-1 is now orbiting within Pequar's rings and it now resembles Atlas (Moon of saturn). This still needs a ton of work, as the surface is not the best. Things left for next alpha is fixing Disole's scatterer config (No surface visible), Pequar's rings all black, adding some nice clouds to the later and finishing the biome maps of the current planets. Also, because of some bugs, EVE shadows are no longer supported (Moons won't go dark if going through a planet penumbra) and probably even Scatterer's Shadows Photos: New C3-1 Pequar's clouds Sunset at one of Disole's dry river beds.
