OPEN STARS-PART IV: HELLO, GOODBYE DATE: JUNE 3, 2042- SEPTEMBER 11, 2042 LOCATION: LOW KERBIN ORBIT- KERBOLCENTRIC ORBIT JEBEDIAH: GaRus, if anything goes wrong, leave me. BILL: That's just wishful thinking Jeb. JEBEDIAH: Oh shut up. GaRus: I am reading you Jeb, are you planning on giving a speech? JEBEDIAH: You know it. JEBEDIAH: Our home used to hold 13 billion kerbals-13 billion!. Now, of course, it's just a radioactive pile of rubble. JEBEDIAH: Only six kerbals made it off... or 20,000 if you count the frozen embryos. They are the crew of this one ship. We are truly Kerbalkind's last hope. VALENTINA: Honestly, I find it more poetic than depressing. Us, the saviors of our species; Name a greater honor than that. GaRus: Jeb, I recommend you enter the ship. STEPHANIE: Not funny GaRus! 1 YEAR LATER GaRus: KSC, this is Exodus-GaRus, we are preparing for our Trans-Cercani-Injection. (18 Minutes Later) KSC: Roger that GaRus; Good luck and godspeed. GaRus: Thank you for building me and starting this mission. (18 More Minutes Later) KSC: Always remember: "Ad Astra Per Aspera". GaRus: Initiating burn.
