The problem of instability results in the use of FAR. FAR still does not get clear with one-part lifting objects, unless they move ballistically. On the other hand, I am unsure if the mod RetractableLifitingSurface, which is mandatory for Dreamcrusher, is compatible with FAR. In the use of contares one-part spaceplanes, the use of FAR should be omitted. An old, always recurring theme.

You want configurations for RSS and RO? Then make yourself at work to create such! I am happy to publish configurations and MM patches for various Mod-supports. However, I would recommend you in this case a lot of time and sense of responsibility, because the maintenance and continuation would not be carried out by me. If and when there will be more spaceplanes is currently in the stars. The X-37c could hit the same fate as Venture Star and Skylon whose investigations so far rather unpleasant.

Ok, here the same error after save a game out of "Game Paused" menu. Immediately after saving, the values in Life Support Monitoring changed to negative. The link to the log created after reloading the savegames comes by PM. -
All shown BUS-Systems you can found in PODS. DT-001 Bus for Telescope, BBBP-002 and BBBP-001 Bus for older soviet-style systems, KERBUS-1000 for Iridium NEXT. Small Atachments in Communication and Science. Many shown science Parts are from Coatl and BDB.

The thing has not yet completely clarified, but a complete removal of the mod with subsequent loading and saving has probably removed all scrap. The reinstallation now seems to work. I'm curious how long. At the next occurrence of the problem there is a log between your eyes. -

Hello JPLRepo! Would it be possible to explain the following circumstance that occurs both under KSP 1.3.0 with TACLS 0.13.5 and KSP 1.3.1 with TACLS 0.13.6? In both cases, backround processing is active. Life Support Monitoring displays only the first manned object in space. As long as the specified object has not been loaded, only negative values are displayed which have nothing to do with the actual status of the object. Only with the loading of the first object correct data will be shown, but only for the loaded object. With good luck, a second and third are displayed after loading the first manned object, but the values of the other objects are again exclusively negative. If one of the other objects loaded, all entries for all objects with negative values appear. All in all, I do not understand the logic that could hide behind it. Calculating charging cycles and used EC are also terribly wrong and lead to the loss of crews at unpredictable intervals. Funny to mention that the death of crews by repeated loading of the same savegame at different times or, in rarer cases, does not occur at all. -

@Beale, you confuse me with your cosmos parts. The first stage has the coloring of KOSMOS C1/M3 (based on R-14 / SS-5 Skean) but the fairing and the upper stage look as if they are from a KOSMOS B1 (based on R-12 / SS-4 Sandal). I hope you are aware that apart from the name are two totally different rockets? @popeter45, the radial tanks on the second stage of KOSMOS C1/M3 holds extra fuel for vernier engines.

In the future, Contares will be offered in a core mod and various addons. The core mod is given all the components which are used several times in the addons. This includes IVA's, MM patches, future plugins, universally used parts such as stack and radial decoupler, docking nodes, antennas and control modules. How the addons are built is not quite sure yet. The structure could be as follows: - all spaceplanes in an addon - all satellite bus systems and scientific experiments, provided that they are not assigned to any of the nations listed below - all products associated with European and Japanese space travel - all products associated with American space travel - all products associated with Indian space travel - all products associated with Soviet, Russian and Ukrainian space travel (this addon is still separated into two parts if necessary) - all products associated with Chinese space travel and so on Support is welcome

Apart from the crooked scale value used by BDB, your mod is already passable close to a usability under KSP conditions. It is a good thing that the introduction of simple mathematics to the calculation of masses, volumes and forces also with BDB has kept. No other calculation system has ever been used for Contares. The mathematical foundations for this were already established hundreds of years ago. The increased thrust force for orbital engines results from the considerably shorter time when a low orbit has to be reached at KSP.

@vossiewulf i will add the following comment to the OP: 50% scale means 1/2 of the size, 1/4 of the thrust, 1/8 of the weight. Further adjustments are due to the physical properties of the Kerbal universe. Fuel tanks designed for use with Contares LH2/LOX engines contain significantly less fuel. Fuel tanks which do not contain an entry for LH2/LOX in the description as well as all stock tanks should be set to 30% Liquid Fuel/Oxidizer when combined with Contares LH2/LOX engines. Regarding the arrangement of parts in the techtree there is certainly still much to steer. This work i am glad to leave to ambitious users because i personally have no interest in career or scientific mode.

The RK-Z-0233 (RD-0233/0234 from ROCKOT) is not overpowered. Almost all rocket engines in the mod contares have 1/4 the thrust of the terrestrial models. ISP is always adopted unchanged. Exceptions are formed by orbital engines which in some cases have up to 50% thrust of the terrestrial models. Contares does not use any of the fuel variation mods. Model-true tanks for LH2/LOX stages have correspondingly less standard mass of LF/OX. This makes things easier for beginners. In order to use any standard/stock tank as LH2/LOX in Contares, the fill level for LF/OX is set to 30%. It is not excluded that there will be support for different fuels, but this is not planned for the near future.

The light version of NEUTRON has 4 the 6 RK-Z-275M engines on the fist stage. Enough power to transport with the former 3rd stage of NEUTRON as 2nd stage and ZIRP-M as third stage to safely transport MORGENROT Type 2 into an LKO. From workbench: MORGENROT Type 2 (inspired by Big-Soyuz) holds max. 5 Kerbonauts. With ~ 9.5 tonns the possible launcher is the NEUTRON-M (inspired by PROTON-M). TheZIRP-M (inspired by Breeze-M / Briz-M) has now todorial tanks to fit on 2.5m and 1.875m diameter launcher.

Based on a Boeing Lander concept, Contares build a version vor 4 Kerbals with potential to land and restart from every moon without atmosphere - and duna - in the stock system. VAB view with KVV on the Mun Landing and restart from Duna
