  1. And just as I finished FREEDUM CHEEZBURGER MAN OOH YEEAAAH BRUTURRRR.... Also, how about contacting @raidernick about his Apollo Telescope mount? maybe seeing what you can take off of his?
  2. OK. But passive CADS on an active APAS does nothing. Did the CADS split off before they became gendered? EDIT: Yes. I'm not entirely sure what to do with this - make APAS non-gendered, or make CADS gendered? As Far As I Know, APAS (And CADS) were made to be non-gendered - don't the configs defeat that purpose?
  3. Well, I reinstalled Hisenberg... and that crippled my space station. (I put ONE PART on...) That gave me an opportunity: I Hyper-edited the original up... Why not hyper-edit a more complete one? Yes, I was taking the p i s s in the name.
  4. yes, but they animate exactly once, in the VAB. There is no way to toggle the animation, as my previous post shows.
  5. oh. Well, there's no way to unextend the parts. I just assumed that the fact that they were open meant that something was broken. EDIT: They [your parts] do extend when I have them in the hangar. however, they are otherwise non-functional. What did I misinstall?
  6. what. What have you attached to it? did you attach the engine or the mounting first? if you attached the engine first, maybe it thinks you are covering the engine up, and putting the full heating force of the F1 into it.
  7. Well, to provide some feedback, the S1F is really useful. I had to make do originally with a scaled down S1C tank, bu this helps greatly in getting to FREEDUM CHEEBURGER.
  8. Spacelab II was a resounding success. After reconfiguring RaiderNick's Skylab to fit, and discovering that, no, you cannot actually use CADS and APAS together, no matter how mechanically similar they seem, the result is this: EDIT: I have grown tired of patching and patching. I have elected to de-orbit my station. With magic. The next station will be all-new -- It will be called FREEDUM CHEEZBURGER.
  9. Erm... I would like to file a complaint. I installed the mod with the low-quality version (Not sure if it makes a difference, and it will make KSP use 2 GB of RAM on a linux) and the docking ports won't dock. I tried docking the passive APAS ports with passive CADS ports , to (unsuprisingly) no avail, but even docking them to other passive APAS ports yields nothing. Given that this plagued the CADS ports before, I think the strength needs to be increased. EDIT: Passive-Passive connections do not work, but Passive-Active ones do. I was using the APAS ports for station construction.
  10. update? I know that's kind of ironic, considering what you are doing here, but...
  11. Yes, but I decided against it after the last minute. I'm waiting for actual Spacelab - RaiderNick's is too big, and none of CXAerospace's Parts ate big enough.
