  1. I'm currently using it and haven't seen any problems on the configuration and save side. I haven't tried a restore yet. Give it a try on a new, test save and let us know.
  2. Welcome to the forums. Do you mean KSP 1.1.3? If so, yes.
  3. If I'm not mistaken, download the .zip file from the link on the first post in this topic, open the .zip file, and drag/copy the GameData folder from the .zip to your KSP install directory. Don't drag it into your GameData folder since you'll end up with GameData\GameData\ which isn't good. Also, read this topic: Read the OP, specifically the part about the Utility Pack.
  4. @Berlin, Thanks for making SVE and its associated mods available through CKAN.
  5. TBH, no. I still prefer #1 then #3. Thanks for simply attempting this, whatever the outcome.
  6. I tend to agree with @Tekener, but honestly I'd be thrilled to have any of them (I did vote, though).
  7. Are you attempting to identify the mods that populate these nodes, or are you creating content for them?
  8. So, gut feel and experience ? I see that when I disable stock survey contracts, I can decline one of these contracts and it gets replaced immediately by a non-survey one, at least for the first 3 attempts. Thanks.
  9. From W 76º subtract or add 180, and switch from W to E longitude. Ignore any negative sign.
  10. KSP v1.1.3, Contract Configurator 1.14.0, SCANSat and Unmanned contract packs, Tarsier and Research Bodies mods which also add contracts. I'm displaying the Settings window in an attempt to prevent certain contracts being generated, specifically contracts that require surveys of Kerbin temperature (and the like) above or below a certain altitude at a specific point. They've filled up my Available list and I'm not getting contracts that I can complete without developing a aeroplane program. I realize that they must come from one of the two packs that I have installed since I didn't see them in stock. The Settings window has two dozen or so possible contract types. How can I select the appropriate type to disable these particular contracts? There don't seem to be any clues in the contract offerings.
  11. I beg to differ. I'm running KSP 1.1.3 and I've successfully removed the stock resource panel and replaced it with ARP "above the line". http://i.imgur.com/lrStgOA.png (I'd include the image inline but I can't figure out how to do that)
  12. Yep. Earth air density at sea level is about 1.225 kg/m3 whereas Mars' is about 0.020 kg/m3.
  13. You've got a lot of errors in the log. Some of them are from the Steam client, I believe. Are you sure it's up-to-date? Can you run KSP without going though Steam, such as running KSP directly from the install directory and do you get the same errors?
  14. Noted, and thanks very much for trying. Since it is a reproducible CKAN crash and I posted the trace, I was hoping for a dev to chime in. Not your problem. Completely agree. This is often the case, isn't it? In the absence of anything else, I'll give this a try when my mods are all updated to 1.1.3. The error is not critical since sorting on any other header works fine and I can work around the problem when I need to. Ignoring the error and allowing CKAN to continue seems to have no negative consequences so it's pretty much an annoyance.
  15. Thanks for the advice, which I followed, however I still get the same error.
  16. Thanks. I followed the process you described. CKAN refused to acknowledge that the directories had been removed (which I thought it was capable of doing) so I selected everything for removal and applied the changes, which worked. I filtered for "Cached" and tried to reinstall all of the mods but some have been denied for compatibility reasons (ScanSat and B9PartSwitch were the prominent ones). Since the game is no longer compatible with my save, I'm going to stop playing until the mods are updated. Exasperating. I don't play KSP at a rate that allows be to advance meaningfully in the game and when the updates come out, I'm left waiting for the mod authors to update their additions before I can continue. I've restarted career mode several times since 1.0.5 was released last year and haven't got past Minmus as a result. <Sigh> Here we go again.
  17. Running CKAN v1.18.0-0 and KSP 1.1.3.1289 on a Win10, 32GB system I start CKAN, click on the Max KSP version header to sort and get the following exception:
  18. Which is better/preferred? The output_log or the KSP.log file?
  19. @jmbailey2000, are you sure you don't have a 1.05 installation somewhere that CKAN is pointing to? Check under the File > Select KSP Install... to confirm. My CKAN correctly reports 1.1.2.1260 in the title bar but I have only one KSP installation for now.
  20. @Insanitic, not really. Take half of the mods out and test. If the problem doesn't repeat, add half of the remaining ones, etc. Should not have to restart 100 times.
  21. The toolbar is customized for each location. If you've created one for the KSC, it doesn't automatically appear in the VAB, SPH, Tracking Station or in flight; you'll need to build those ones as you see fit. Look for the 1-icon toolbar placeholder, identical to the one you must have had for the KSC when you created your first toolbar. If this doesn't describe your situation, then perhaps a screen-shot would help.
  22. Just post it to a site, such as Dropbox, and post the link. Don't drop it directly in the forum.
