[WIP] [1.2.1] [2.0.4] Stock Size Real Solar System
pap1723 replied to sDaZe's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
So I am going to all of the bodies in your mod to determine the Flying vs Atmosphere Threshold Altitude and High Space vs Low Space Threshold Altitude. I noticed a bug at Venus. At 275,808m I am In Space High over Venus. At 275,807 m, I am Flying High over Venus. It completely skips over Low Space.- 2,401 replies

[1.10.1+] Contract Configurator [v1.30.5] [2020-10-05]
pap1723 replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Thanks for the response! I know how to use the PartValidation function so from my understanding it should work like this: PARAMETER:NEEDS[DMagicOrbitalScience] { name = PartValidation type = PartValidation Blah, Blah, Blah }- 5,225 replies

[1.10.1+] Contract Configurator [v1.30.5] [2020-10-05]
pap1723 replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@nightingale Is it possible for me to only require certain parts if a specific mod is installed? What I am looking to do is require that certain science experiments would be included in a mission if DMagic Orbital Science was installed. Thanks!- 5,225 replies

Hello Everybody! I have been working on creating a new Contract Pack that looks at the Historical Progression of human's journey into space. @Whitecat106 has created an amazing pack of more than 500 historical missions that is the inspiration of this. For me, I love the historical aspect of his missions, but it becomes too tedious to launch the same mission 10 times. I understand that this is how the real world worked, but I want to play the most important missions in human history without having to progress through 10 Explorer missions first. The pack that @Whitecat106 has created is amazing with the amount of time that he put into it. I hope to be able to be even partially as detailed as he is! This is the list that I have come up with. The list below is organized by date that the mission was launched, and it will work in a progression. Many of the missions have prerequisites of completing the previous mission, but some have prerequisites of just accepting a mission. Many of the missions will branch off to be able to run a couple at the same time, but will eventually come back into the same branch to keep things in order. Please take a look at the list and let me know if there are any achievements or notable missions that I have missed. I screwed it up making the biomes one time. Remember the texture is upside down and flipped horizontally. Probably all that happened.- 2,401 replies

It essentially replaces antenna range features with their signal system.
-
That is definitely a RemoteTech feature. The Communotron-16 will snap off if it is extended when you are traveling too fast through the atmosphere. The other one, the Reflectron is always on, but it has a very short range so would lose connectivity with KSC above a certain height.

[AnyOS] KSP Mod Admin v2 - Mod install with a few clicks
pap1723 replied to MacTee's topic in KSP1 Tools and Applications
Thanks for this great mod! It is a lifesaver for all of the modpacks that I like to install, but to only use a couple parts in each. REQUEST: Do not know how hard it would be, but the functionality seems to exist already in the Mods editing part...Could you make it so that on the Parts tab, I can hold control and select multiple parts to delete? That would be a GREAT addition. Thanks again! -

@ShotgunNinja this is a great mod! Thank you for all of your work on it. I had an idea for your Telemetry Reports science experiment. As it stands right now, they are single run experiments per state which I think is fine, but I had a nice tweak to them that I thought I would share and offer as a suggestion. Every time one of the space agencies launches a rocket, they find out new information about Telemetry. A big part of all of the Sounding Rockets fired in the 40's and 50's was to bring back new information from each launch. As it stands right now, that doesn't really work. Here is my suggestion and one that I have made in my own Kerbalism config save (I hope you don't mind): / ============================================================================ // Telemetry experiment // ============================================================================ EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION { id = probeTelemetry title = Telemetry baseValue = 100 scienceCap = 5 dataScale = 1 requireAtmosphere = False situationMask = 63 biomeMask = 0 RESULTS { default = All values nominal. } } The idea is to get science every time you launch some of the boring missions that take you to the same place over and over again. If you do not decide to implement it, no big deal, keep up the good work and I love the mod!

Hello Everyone! Alright, after some extensive changes and new testing, the finished (and working) version of the Moon Biomes is attached below. I tested it last night and it works out great! Hopefully sometime soon I will add some new Science descriptions to the areas to add some flavor. There are 27 Biomes fro you to explore and they are listed below. Lowlands Midlands Highlands North Pole South Pole Major Craters Aitken Basin Oceanus Procellarum (Ocean of Storms, largest of the Mare) Birkhoff Crater Mendeleev Crater Hertzsprung Crater Korolev Crater Apollo Crater Poincare Crater Planck Crater Schrodinger Crater Mare Orientale (Eastern Sea) Mare Humorum (Sea of Moisture) Mare Nubium (Sea of Clouds) Mare Imbrium (Sea of Showers, Luna 17 with Lonkohod 1 rover, Apollo 15 landing) Mare Serenitatis (Sea of Serenity, Apollo 17 Landing) Mare Tranquillitatis (Sea of Tranquility, Apollo 11 Landing Mare Feunditatis (Sea of Fertility, Luna 16 landed here) Mare Nectaris (Sea of Nectar Mare Frigoris (Sea of Cold Mare Crisium (Sea of Crises) Mare Australe (Southern Sea) https://www.dropbox.com/s/87fi3o2kbur81ec/RSSMoonBiomes_Release.zip?dl=0- 2,401 replies

[WIP] [1.2.1] [2.0.4] Stock Size Real Solar System
pap1723 replied to sDaZe's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
MY BAD!!! There were a couple of spots that I forgot to close some brackets. Here is the corrected file. From my testing, Planck Crater, Poincare Crater, Schrodinger Crater and the Major Craters biomes are all not working. It is one of two things and I will test later today: 1) The colors used to create the map are too close together and the game doesn't like that. (VERY POSSIBLE) 2) There is a limit on the number of Biomes per celestial body. I will let you know what I find out.
