  1. @cinnaman00001 - Disregard the above users post as they do not know what they think they know Now for a real soution ...... Please consult the in game KSPedia for detailed instructions on the operation of BDAc If you experience this issue after reading the instryctuin manual then please co sult the first post of the BDAc thread where you will learn how to help us (the BDAc team) help you
  2. Listen to you most knowledgeable of users ... Don't care what most modders do and the fact remains this is BDAc, not stock Not interested in your side notes nor your misinformation
  3. Should be in the PRE thread, I know it is in the changelog for sure that PRE has a world stabilizer built in PRE is a dependancy for BDAc and, as with all mods a user installs, said user should read the OP of the thread for the mod they install However you raise a good point as most users don't read the OP of a mods thread (even the BDAc thread OP ) ... I'll add a snippet in the BDAc threads OP to notify users of the conflict (not that anyone will read it ... you are one of the few exceptions) Anyways, thanx for bringing this to our attention ... much obliged
  4. Public Service Announcement If using Physics Range Extender DO NOT use this mod ... PRE has its own world stabilizer that the BD Armory Continued team knows as Black Spell If you use PRE or BD Armory Continued and install this mod there will be conflicts between the two ... only solution is to not use this mod with PRE Regards, Doc
  5. You do realize that KSP was released a couple years before being on Steam, yes? Also it isn't Squads responsibility to inform you of how to use another company's software ... It also is not Squads responsibility to tell you to read the direction manual that Steam has where it clearly points out that one of the conveniences of using Steam is the auto update feature for your games Actually Steam totes that as a selling point of their service so if you didn't know about it then I assume it was a TL;DR thing since everything I've seen in regards to Steam mentions the auto update feature, can't miss it As for finding amusement elsewhere, why would I do that when I'm getting such a chuckle out of this thread ... I get great amusement out of the irony of a logical fallacy and the logic here (in regards to Squad being responsible for your game being updated by steam due to you not turning off auto update) falls right into that category So please, tell me more about how it is Squads fault
  6. It's not bemusement ... it's amusement at the mental gymnastics required to equate one company's policy and system to being the fault of another company that has no control over anything that is done by the aforementioned first company Squad has no control over Steam and what they decide to do or how they set up their system ... I find the irony of the concept that Squad is somehow to fault for the business decisions of Steam quite amusing, please do carry on
  7. So you clearly realize that it is Steam and their user selectable automatic updating that you didn't turn off which is what caused your problem yet you are still blaming Squad?
  8. Perhaps if you ran your game outside of Steam you wouldn't have this problem .. or an even better idea would be to set Steam to not automatically update KSP perhaps? It is Steam who is responsible for updating your game, not Squad, so please place the blame for your situation on the company responsible for your issue
  9. @Inter -thanx for your 2 cents (almost got a dime now ) You raise some good points and as you surmised extensive testing will be required to get to the bottom of the issues raised In regards to the sounds, I've read in the unity forums that unity can have a hissy fit if trying to play too many sounds at once on a single channel but how this relates to KSP is still unknown ... we'll have to take a look at that Anyways, thanx again for the input
  10. Perhaps reading the OP of the thread is in order or even the last few posts ... it clearly doesnt work properly in KSP v1.3.1 so I would expect that it wouldn't work in a later version of KSP
  11. Coding challenge accepted .... managed to make a flat asteroid As for a planet, not so sure that's gonna go over so well as KSP keeps having a hissy fit ... but oblong asteroids or flat potatoes are totally doable
  12. Unfortunate as it is, we have no control over AP+ and as such we are unable to assist you in your efforts to create WW1 aircraft replica's If the caretaker of AP+ were to be interested in working with the BDAc team then we would be happy to oblige, however until then there is nothing that is within our power to do The BDAc team appologises for any inconvenience in this matter, however, as stated, this is an issue that is not within our control ... only @blackheart612 can rectify the issue and until such time we are not able to do anything about it Again, the BDAc team appologises for any inconvenience you may be experiencing due to a mod that is not compatible with BD Armory Continued not working with BD Armory Continued
  13. Airplane plus is the problem ... solution is to not use airplane plus We have no control over AP+ and can not guarantee that BDAc will work as advertised if using AP+ parts on your craft ... if this is not acceptable to you then please refer to the AP+ thread and ask to have the issue fixed ... nothing we can do about it as we have no control over the AP+ mod TL;DR is if your using AP+ parts and experiencing an issue whith BDAc it's not our issue, take it the to AP+ thread as we have no control over the situation ... Either AP+ fixes itself to work with BDAc or you're pooched, nothing we can do about it as AP+ is not in within our control
  14. Sounds like you need more powerful engines or more engines ... how heavy is your aircraft? .... modded engines or stock? .... how many engines? Your description is quite vague ... more context please
  15. Welcome to the forum Glad to see the approval of your first post go through so quickly
  16. As mentioned above, 90% of the time a quick look into the ksp.log will tell you what the problem is from my experience ... with the other 10% (I think it's less ... like 5%) the output log becomes useful but I've only needed that once to figure out a code issue
  17. Module Manager is a required dependancy ... please visit the thread below and install as directed
  18. Confirmed !!!!!!!! @Katten think you can provide the whole code set? .... not cool
  19. Looks like you are running the 32 bit executable .... downloading the 64 bit version should fix your issue Good luck
  20. Sounds cutting out, check .... Could be due to a boatload of sounds being run at the same time and Unity having a hissy fit, We'll take a look and see what we can find Honestly that would need to be extensively tested to determine if in fact it is true, however I highly suspect that this is not the case since targeting and AI behavior is not in any way tied to the camera so there is no way for the AI or Weapon Manager to even tell which direction the camera is pointing in I have ran a number of battle competitions, most notably the second tier of the BAD T2 and the BAD T3 WW2 tournaments, and the camera's pointing direction never had any impact on the battles that were run (which were numerous) ... Although, as mentioned above, extensive testing would need to be done to unequivocally determine if the camera is having any effect but I highly suspect that this is not the case Nice detailed explanation at the beginning, well done
  21. @Fengist you will find what you need in the spoiler below ... may not be exactly what you are looking for but it should serve your purposes in regards to hiding stuff in the part action window This is the whole Hack Kerbal module from OrX for hacking a kerbal in the flight scene, pay attention to the updateButtons method ...... Good luck (DISCLAIMER: Warning to all ... Use this module at your own risk ... I assume no responsibility for any shenanigans experienced by using the script in the spoiler below)
