The main issue is that the AI will not recognize a rock face until it is too late ... and even then there are times that the AI will fly a craft into a mountain just to spite you -

Doing battles in the mountains will lead to a lot of RUD's from flying into the side of a mountain As for Laythe battles, there is a Laythe challenge incoming using custom launch arenas made in KK (some have already been created) .... please stand by -

That was added in v1.2 ... it can be disabled in the settings menu although exactly where I have not a clue -

Thank you ... form follows function A wise man once said: 'you must be able to balance on the head of a pin to avoid getting poked while patching holes in your garments' ... fuel balance, thrust relation vs CoM vs point of mechanical pivot and major lifting surface location in relation to CoM all play a part in my designs Depends on the purpose of the craft I suppose EDIT: think of where lift is being provided by your wings and control surfaces ... changing the relationship between CoM, major and minor lifting surfaces and control surfaces can totally change the performance of a craft while in flight ( not to mention tuning the craft and AI to work with each other) -

So I've been trying to give the mountain Jernas Turret a smackdown but I am unable to do it either ... Seems that the default altitude is coming into play here as well as a potential bug being found in the Wing Commander module since I cannot attack the mountaintop like you were saying I think the WC module is getting it's coordinates from a set altitude that is well below the top of the mountain ... Kinda explains how sometimes the green diamond cursor appears to be under the surface of where I am targeting -

@SpannerMonkey(smce) - try approaching it from the west The save was made in 1.2.1 ... as for the songs, they come from youtubes audio repository Not sure what their names are -
Not sure where the confusion is coming from nor who is confused ... we haven't heard anything about any confusion VM works in KSP v1.2.1 ... QA tested it myself a while back before we released it The link to the latest version can be found here: Edit: Perhaps I should have mentioned to click on the Git repo link in order to find the lastest release

Big fighters are great when they're called for ... I have found that many figthers/drones work best for this challenge I highly recommend consulting the in game KSPedia to learn about Wing Commander before attempting this challenge -

BDMk22 with RPM and a modified ASET pack ... Here's the link: https://github.com/PapaJoesSoup/BDMk22Plugin/releases/tag/v1.1.2r The boys did a solid and tweaked a bunch of the ASET files so that they would work correctly ... enjoy -

KSP v1.2.1 with BDAc v0.11.1.6 (latest release), BDALoadedVesselSwitcher, BDMk22, Vessel Mover and Camera Tools I haven't used many bombs lately, just for this challenge, but I haven't had an issue with the reticle not showing up ... Mind you I've only used JDAM's and Mk82 SnakeEye's since 1.2 was released And on that note, I now present for your approval the CANUKWorks Heinz 57 ... Carrying 2 targeting pod probes (w/chutes), 2 Howitzers (with special sauce) and 57 flavors of JDAM Consider this your first exhibition entry ..................... -

Are you meaning to include the island airport and other locations? I ask because to plant flags at every structure at the KSC only requires a command pod so you can launch a Kerbal ... Just walk to each structure and plant a flag -

You could try the following for a better test .... Go to the KSPedia in game and select BDAc Settings and read about competition mode ... Then load crafts for each team using the spawn vessel function in Vessel Mover, activate all their engines with throttles set to 0, open the BDAc Settings window, set your physics load distance to 8000 and click on start competition -
So I got something for you guys/gals .... Tested on Windows and Linux .... has been found to be working as expected AFAICT Let us know if there are any issues https://github.com/PapaJoesSoup/BDMk22Plugin/releases

Yes ... but you used MechJeb (good job on the successful orbit with mono though) Anyways, at 517 dv short with a totally vanilla install, I am now king of the hill
