The thing about the wheel and landing gear tweakables is I don't know what they do. Is there someplace I could find out and learn how to use them other than trial and error?

I can pick locks.

I think we should keep the extremely long spoilers to a maximum of one pet page.
-
I have no complaints or questions about this decision.
-
Just as disinterested after 30 seconds, too.

Granted. You have everything you need to survive, but it's a Hohmann transfer and free return to Earth, so no landing on the moons, and you're alone on the ship. I wish spiders could speak, and had their own languages.

I don't know, maybe! I pointed a green laser near a housefly and it chased it for a while.
-
Flies follow lasers.

In my state it is stated there is only one brood, that being late May to July. It'll likely stay in my garage during winter with the strap, which apparently is fine as it's still cold in there. I'll keep checking on it just in case though.

Upper Midwest. I think you're right, it looks like a giant silk moth cocoon. Apparently these cocoons will only emerge in spring next year. I will check back on it once in a while for now, then come back in spring to see if it emerges.

When is there going to be Olympic speedcubing?

Extraterrestrial life; what could it look like?
cubinator replied to Cabbink's topic in Science & Spaceflight
If it's on a Super-Earth, maybe something like beefy starfish, with either lots of legs or a snail-like foot and a low center of mass. An Earth-like world with low gravity might yield some really interesting shapes for creatures, as they don't need as much structural stability. That sounds like something I've seen somewhere before...- 34 replies

I found what looks like a moth cocoon attached to a hammock strap on a tree today. I'll check back on it another day to see if anything happens. It's about 4 cm long.

One sentence you could say to annoy an entire fan base?

Do not let the Magic Boulder watch Animusic.

Dire, Dire Docks is good for roving.

Indeed. Slightly out of the scope of Clamp-O-Tron's warranty, I think.

Slime molds are technically a type of table.

The Clockwork Rocket is interesting, it explores a universe where relativity is slightly different, and different colors of light have different speeds. The Planiverse describes how a two-dimensional society might function, including transportation, fishing, music, flying snakes, and elevators, with diagrams.

That's a cool frog! I bet he'd be a formidable enemy in Pikmin.

A perfectly level landing, despite being on a steep incline:

345 m above sea level, if launch clamps count. If not, then 0 m
