Ask a stupid question, Get a stupid answer back.

They ate all the deer and now food is expensive. Can I fix all the glitches involved with running Super Mario Sunshine on Oculus by letting a toad hop around on my keyboard? If not, then will more toads help? I have a bunch in my yard! -

Granted, you can eat this pizza when it cools down from ten million degrees. I wish grass would always stop growing once it gets four inches tall.

Patience you must have. Answers in time, hm?

Granted, you go to all their funerals. I wish Star Wars Episodes I-III were really good.

Granted, you run at 1.5 c for a few seconds, then you are outside of Earth's atmosphere and magnetosphere so you die very quickly. I wish General Grievous was my lawnmower:

Never go to the new Magic Boulder imposters.

Yesterday there was a big thunderstorm. Hail was predicted but it must have stopped before reaching my area, where there was just lots of rain and lightning. Right now it's really foggy, I'd guess visibility is around 150-200 m. It's supposed to be really hot and humid later today.

These drawings are spectacular! I love every one of them! There are a couple from my Jool-5 And Then Some that would be cool: Pick your favorite one, do it up however you like it! Any way it will surely be beautiful!

What level is your launchpad? Are you using launch clamps? I suggest moar launch clamps. They keep the bottom of your rocket away from that pesky ground that always tries to foil your plans.

Managed to get a shot of this nice sunrise before the game crashed seconds later. The rocket is a V2 with an airplane crew cabin in place of the usual guidance system. I'm not sure what happens to Jeb and Bob on the way down...

Mod which increases stability when loading a craft
cubinator replied to SpaceK's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
I've had far more issues with decreasing terrain detail than increasing it, I would suggest putting it at the highest setting unless it's already there. -
In rocket science, there is no "best" or "worst" design. There is only "good enough" and "not good enough". If it's proven to be "good enough" (i.e. ship does what it's supposed to without any issues), you can make more changes if you want but you probably don't need to. If it's proven to be "not good enough" (i.e. it explodes/runs out of fuel/Mark Kerman has to grow potatoes in his own poo for a year), then you should probably make more changes to get it above the "good enough" threshold. I think your ship is probably "good enough" if you've done lots of testing and refining already.

Mapping a Circle to a Kopernicus Map?
cubinator replied to cubinator's topic in KSP1 Modelling and Texturing Discussion
--Update-- No matter what I do, the Spherical Mapping Corrector doesn't make the crater circular. I have, however, found out that Photoshop itself has a function to turn the texture into an actual sphere which I can manipulate and draw proper circles on. Unfortunately, I have not found a way to turn the sphere back into a flat texture map. If you know how to do this, please teach me. -
My work was mostly in Photoshop today, still can't manage a circular crater...

I get out, but then get in front of the rover to break the fall. Your toaster starts glowing green and emitting a crackling sound and vibrating. What do you do?

5/10 They will inevitably terrorize Earth for, like, half a day before the Doctor shows up and fixes everything. I eject the Moon into solar orbit such that it will impact Earth in 10 years, then use the panic created to take over the world. When the Moon comes back I will escape in a giant starship.

I'll get that out of your way... Waiter, my soup is in Comic Sans!

A Participant's Perspective on the Louisiana Flooding
cubinator replied to Geschosskopf's topic in The Lounge
Kudos to you for all the work you've put in to help! -
Well, of course it's a set of UFOs. They're: Unidentified: You don't know what they are Flying: They're not on the ground Objects: They are obviously physical "things". Were all three of those dots moving, and in the same direction? If that's the case, I would guess a group of military aircraft as it's extremely unlikely that three spacecraft would be synchronized in that position and be bright enough to see next to the almost-full Moon.
