Once, I forgot the KER chip on a rescue contract ship going out to a pod near the Mun on an early hardmode career. I had no maneuver nodes, so instead of looking for an option to reenable reverts in alt-F12, I spent two hours learning how to calculate a Hohmann transfer by hand. This gave me an idea, and now I present: THE TIER 1 TRACKING STATION CHALLENGE! The premise of this challenge is to try to get as far as possible in KSP using only the Tier 1 tracking station. That means no maneuver nodes, no apoapsis/periapsis markers, and no visual confirmation of planetary encounters! Which leads to this important point: If you're not willing to do a fair amount of math, TURN BACK NOW!! You have been warned. Now, any good challenge needs some rules, so here they are: Start a new save game in career mode* **. You may not upgrade the tracking station at all. It must stay at Tier 1. You may upgrade the other buildings however you like. If you want to hack your save file to give you lots of funds and max out the tech tree, feel free to do so. Gradual career progression is not the point of this challenge. You may not have any informational mods (KER, Mechjeb, VOID, RPM, etc.) installed. The point of the challenge is to accomplish as much as possible with as little information as possible. Please provide some pics/video of your travels, so you can be awarded your bragging rights. Have fun! *Is there a way to get non-fully upgraded buildings in Sandbox? Let me know if there is. **You can use any save where the tracking station is not yet upgraded to Tier 2. I think it can propel the cone a short (like maybe 100 picometers if it's small enough) distance, which technically qualifies it as a rocket.

My cone concept might consist of less than 100 atoms, just large enough to fit the three fuel atoms. Sure, it's impractical and difficult to make, but it'd be the smallest rocket around! then you wouldn't be able to find where it went after you launched it...

Here's a minimalistic rocket design that won't be able to go very far, but is very small: Conical fuselage made of something hard 2 Hydrogen atoms 1 Oxygen atom Feed the hydrogen and oxygen into the cone and use a spark to make them react Space! Not very far though. You'd need something that could make a very, very tiny cone, and something to feed individual atoms into the cone, and a very tiny spark. But it's a really small rocket!

Honestly, they all do the same functions but still, they are “different”. As long as I am able to get on the Internet, I’m happy. But I have been a loyal browser user for Chrome. I love the extensions and the simple layout.
