  1. The settings I use for scatterer are exactly as I they come with SVE. I don't see a huge difference between 256 and 128. So I just use 128 for performance sake. I have a GTX 980 oc, i5 4690k 4GHz, 32 gb ram and a few TB of SSD's. I see a constant 60 fps in atmo and vacuum. It might dip into mid 50's every now and then. And I run roughly 90 mods when I play. When I run just SVE and SVT I get about 85- 90 fps pretty constant. It only drops down to 60 when I add the 4-5 large part mods that I use. All on 1080p res. Do you you use a lot of part mods? I whittle mine down to only the things I want. For example, I use procedural parts, so I delete all other fuel tanks and I get rid of little things like ladders, except the ones I like or find useful.
  2. Also, try installing the mod manually not through CKAN
  3. Or you can download the mod, Mechjeb and Engineer for all. Just need the latest module manager http://kerbal.curseforge.com/ksp-mods/221500-mechjeb-and-engineer-for-all
  4. Well ksprc is a tricky install along side SVE. It's possible though. I made SVT to work with SVE to alleviate headaches for people that had trouble with ksprc and sve. But yeah 64k should be fine with SVE.
  5. Ok, how are you installing it? Did you install both files? Any CPU configs AND AnyCPU EVE?
  6. Probably. I'd say for sure before Christmas 2019. Until then, use it because it works perfectly. There's an old saying. If it ain't broke don't fix it. There has been no reason for an update.
  7. sooooo..... at the main menu....... toggle ocean shaders off then restart your game. I'm a coding genius and this proves it
  8. It should be separate. I didn't put it on ckan and I don't use it so I don't know what the set up is on ckan exactly. Afaik it's separate
  9. I just reread your comment and there were some big changes this update. Only Minmus Bop and Gilly had height maps before. In this update I included new normal maps and height maps for almost every celestial body. Most were pretty exaggerated to give the surface a really dynamic, rough feel to it
  10. And it's the best visual enhancement mod out there tooting my own horn a little
  11. Ok good to know I'll probably re-release this sans heightmap then
  12. Yeah I would Uninstall it and make sure I can load saves without it first then try reinstalling it
  13. I'm almost 100% sure it's not this mod causing it. Check to see that you have saves in the save directory. Not in game but in the actual folder
  14. If you can create a flat, rectangle texture map, then use the 3d plugin to view it on a sphere, and it looks good, you can always open your history window in PS and just delete the state that says "New Shape from Layer" and it will revert back to a flat, rectangle. Then you can make edits and repeat if you need to. That's how I do it. If you need more help just pm Now that I have finished updating my mods for a while, I have some free time, so any help you need let me know
  15. That is caused by the shadows the clouds cast in E.V.E. The only way to get rid of that is to turn shadows off in the E.V.E. GUI by setting _shadowfactor = 0 The only other way to fix that is to remove or remodel the light texture on that tower thing and I don't know how to do that. The same effect happens with landing gear. I don't find it a big deal. I spend most of my time in space anyway.
  16. LOWER RESOLUTION AVAILBLE NOW I don't know how the performance is as I run 60fps+ with the higher res so I'll need feedback. If it's not any better, then I apologize.
  17. So I work fast and have already converted all textures to 512x512. I did a little testing and it doesn't look half bad. I'm not too sure about the performance as I have a really good rig and have never seen anything south of 60fps, soooooo ill leave that to be determined by those who try it out. The only thing I changed was the ground textures resolutions. The scaled space planet textures are still 4k because at 2k they look worse than stock. I'm about to upload to spacedock so stand by for a link. Hopefully the performance is better for those who need it.
