what will be tough is the colors. If you are porting things over to SVE's configs, the colors for astronomers clouds will be a little off. You can reference the RGB values in astronomers cfg to get the correct values. The only difference in the Alpha value which I don't think was in EVE back then. I'm sure you will figure it out. just play with it -

ok that's almost exactly what I was thinking.. So it acts in a way like ATM does correct? If that is the case, if I put that into each planet in my cfgs, would that fix the white kerbin bug that I believe is caused by Kopernicus trying to load the same textures on different bodies? I have tested each mod that adds planet textures and they all result in this when you switch between crafts in orbit. My hope is If I put the UseOnDemand in there, this wont happen as its only loading the textures on an as needed basis. I don't know why I asked I'm just gonna test it anyway I guess I need a reassuring voice while I try this lol Edit: nope still a white kerbin that's correct, right? /\ The only way I have found to "fix" this is to start your game by initially choosing your ship from the tracking station. doing that, I have yet to get a white kerbin. another way to get rid of the white kerbin is to go into map mode in flight and toggle through all of the bodies until you end up back at kerbin. the textures load then. its just strange that only kerbin is affected by this "bug" I don't know what else to call it. Kopernicus just wont load the color or normal map. @Thomas P. any clue? -

Kill them with fire! If you look on the first page of this thread you will see a compiled list of suits and textures people have made over the years. If you pick one that has suits in it, they more than likely have visors that are different colors.

yeah me too. ive just been dealing with it yeah the version that has the reflections just looks like this. im not sure why but the reflections seen to create more of a negative space than an actual reflection. oh well, it was a good attempt. Maybe one day we will have true reflections again but i feel this mod's development has slowed and it may be some time before we do.

SVT USERS, PLEASE READ *****So the issue with Kerbin turning white after switching to another ship in orbit is caused by Kopernicus. I have tested with every single mod that adds terrain textures and each one turns white after a switch.. HOWEVER I did notice that when you start the game, if you pick your ship from the tracking station first, Kerbin never turns white after that. SO, as a workaround until there is a fix, upon start of your game, initially choose your ship from the tracking station and the issue SHOULD go away. Note that you must do this EVERY TIME YOU START YOUR GAME****** -

Experimenting with a new cloud detail texture.. I personally think this looks great, what do you think? Yay? Nay? if you have ever noticed some really blocky patches of clouds, this gets rid of 95% of those -

Ckan doesn't break anything on SVT as far as i know Kopernicus does there is no trick to make kopernicus work, Its just buggy i use the latest version of kopernicus, scatterer and EVE. i use custom cfgs in this mod to make the clouds and scatterer took good together. Modifying the cfgs may result in things not looking right. also i wont provide support. The way to get a bunch of mods working together is to quit relying on ckan and start installing manually that way, if you have issues, you will have a general idea of where the problem is and can troubleshoot the problems easier.- 1,019 replies

Dont install via ckan. Also, kopernicus causes this issue not sve. Try installing manually. Ckan breaks sve.- 1,019 replies
