  3. CKAN problem more than likely. SSRSS for 1.3 has gone through some changes. safe bet is to install manually
  4. Not KVE SVE and SVT will not work with this mod. OPM clouds should be ok, but if it's not, it should be noted that this mod doesn't claim to work with them. So hope for the best and expect the worst
  5. I wouldn't expect much more help if you don't post your output log. The game does not need to crash for it to be produced. Read the "how to get support" thread that was posted earlier. Use Dropbox or Pastebin to upload the logs and share the link here. If you choose not to do that, its a guessing game, and nobody wants to waste their time with that. Your specs are not important at this point.
  6. Its not necessarily wrong, I just happen to write that patch when Kopernicus wasn't supporting cbNameLater and was solely dependent on displayName. Anyway, I plan on updating the patch soon anyway and will fix that and add some other cool things to it. Btw, in your fix, you didn't comment out the name Kerbin in the asteroid node, which would result in no asteroids around Earth.
  7. cbNameLater allows you to rename a body. Putting an exclamation mark in from removes its effect, allowing the body to keep the original name
  8. If you have done normal maps for planets, then its the same process for ground textures. Open your texture up in photoshop/gimp and use the normal map filter to make it a normal map. save/export the normal map as DXT5nm (normal map). make sure you save the texture with mipmaps.
  9. Why not use a Laythe template? It just seems like the next likely template you would use as opposed to Duna, and I cant see why you couldn't use the built in HM for Kerbin.

  11. @eddiew SSRSS doesn't touch contracts so that maybe either something RSS or perhaps the change to the high and low orbit setting that I had make causes it? I dunno. As for the settings yes it's one bracket too high.. I'll fix it lol @eddiew I fixed it. Sorry for the flub
  12. I have been testing for hours now, and the only things I can find wrong, is the water physics and the white caps are broken again. Other than that, perfect. Edit: oh, and having to go back to the main menu after making an EVE change lol
  13. that's the dust storms on SVE that cause the artifact. SVE will not work with the experimental scatterer just posted today. Do not use the experimental version. performance issues and other errors will occur. Stick with v0.0300 until I update SVE. if you choose to continue to use the experimental version, know that I or anyone else will not provide support if you come across any problems
