The video is almost complete, this is the most Kerbal Bop base you will ever see.

My Moho mission had this issue, I would shatter them if I landed to hard but my lander was powered by an Ion engine so I had no choice. Nice mission by the way and good luck on your Eve mission. It seems you and me both are after that planet.

What is the biggest mission failure you have ever had?
JacobJHC replied to JacobJHC's topic in KSP1 Discussion
That sounds similar to my luck as a noob trying to reach orbit (the good old days). I suggest you dock a separate reentry pod to the station and transfer her to it then save her and deorbit the station. Heck take the old station to the new one and make it a larger station. But that's just my two cents. -
Simple as that. What is the biggest letdown/ failure you have ever had in KSP. Mine was probably the time I was attempting the Jool 5 challenge and met the Kraken out at Tylo, resulting in the loss of the lander's ability to function. So what's yours?

UPDATE: Ship was in orbit around Bop with enough fuel to land just not near the Kraken, so naturally I build an even larger ship to do the job. Now I just need to figure out how to build a stock launcher that can lift 441.5 tons into low Kerbin orbit.... UPDATE #2: I have made a working launcher and am ready to launch my 2365.612 ton monstrosity masterpiece into orbit.

I was testing new landers and have some pretty small one for the Jool moons, the issue is while testing my 5 ton Laythe lander the Kraken struck. Once I entered the atmosphere instead of slowing down I sped up to Laythe escape velocity and possibly a Jool escape trajectory. I also managed to get Jeb to spaghetti-fi and accelerate away from Tylo and Jool at almost 20 kilometers per second. But I'm getting there. -

You are brave for attempting this. If the part count is malicious, might I suggest tweak scale? -
After I decided to do something that nobody has done before I give you my largest ship to date, the Tylotastic. Here on it's maiden voyage it had 10 landers take kerbals to the surface and return them safely to Kerbin.

Ok I have done it. I am the first person to land on Tylo 10 times and return without refueling or mining in KSP with only 1 launch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_u2tD4YigQ&feature=youtu.be -

Ok I have just done 10 tylo landings in a row without refueling and returning to Kerbin in 1 launch for the first time ever. When the video finishes uploading and all that I will post it in the thread. -
The Ultimate Jool 5 Challenge - 1.0 to 1.3
JacobJHC replied to sdj64's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
I said before I was going to attempt a Grand Tour, I still am but I am sending a Jool 5 mission to test out the new Ion-Powered equipment, lol and this time I will put enough docking ports. -
I have finally built an SSTO that can return from interplanetary locations Tell me what you think or what I could improve
-
My entry is underway, and it carries 88 kerbals and weighs 99 tons. when you are adding points for part count do you mean at Bop or at launch? Either way the Kraken will pay for glitching my original Jool 5 attempt, the Joolius Caesar and it's Tylo lander.

(Former) Spirit Style Landing Challenge.
JacobJHC replied to Matuchkin's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Since I completed the challenge do I get a badge? -
I am completing the challenge now should I show you the thread with the progress now or wait until I finish? I am about halfway unless I decide to expand.
-
If landing at the KSC is not required then here is my submission. If this is good enough tell me if I get a badge or not.

Ok I have an SSTO capable of Minmus, I can simply fly it again. I made a video for it but it didn't land at KSC so I will fly it again. Also, what would it mean if I also landed on Minmus during the mission?

Sorry this is really late, this is the imgur with the badges. HOWEVER I kinda cannot control their sizes, they might be absolutely huge, if so simply open in paint and shrink it to your desired size. http://imgur.com/a/onFoo
